UV Bulb for Birds

These bulbs are exactly as described. A bit of a update to the design, but it functions just fine in the lamp fixture I have. Thank you for bringing the sun indoors for my beautiful feathery companion!

I used this in my custom bird enclosure / aviary, that has built-in lighting. Set to a timer, works perfectly.

This bulbs claims to have UVA and UVB. I have light meters for all UV types and I tested this bulb. It was very nice for UVA but contains no UVB whatsoever, even right up next to the bulb.Update: Even though the box says it’s a UV bulb, it puts out visible light. Which makes me think that perhaps I was sent their full spectrum bulb. I will see about ordering a new bulb and determine whether it actually has UV.

Works for my birds

This is a teeny tiny bulb. Not sure what it goes in. I wanted a full size full spectrum, still haven't found them.

I didn't notice that the smaller bulb had to be replaced but the birds were not as active and they were shedding feathers. Bulb arrived and everything was back to normal within 3 days. Great product.
