Perfect reach
I needed a clamp to reach inside the body of my E! Camino to hold a body patch tight before welding. These Irwin Vice-Grips worked great. I have tryed cheaper brands, but Irwin Vice-Grips always work better. I am not getting paid for this (I wish). I am just an old retired guy working in my shop telling the truth.

Works as expected
This is a really big locking clamp. The reason I chose it is because I need something big enough to hold any work configuration. Like the old saying: Bigger is better. Undeniably it serves me more than one single purpose, from clamping a 2x4 wood beam for holding tight a ladder base to providing grip at a far-reaching spot of the table top. In any configuration this tool offers convenience, speed and equal strength compared to a regular G clamp. But for smaller configurations, the use of smaller locking clamps is preferred.
