Perma-Sharp Double Edge Safety Razor Blades, 100 Count, 20 Count (Pack of 5)

An EXCELLENT double edge razor blade. I’ve tried more than a dozen different brands and for my face shaving needs, these seem to be the best. Smooth, and stay sharp for about 6+ shaves. My second favorite is the BIC brand.

The media could not be loaded. Premium quality blades for a great price. They recently have gone up but sometimes go on sale. I’ve been stocking up because they are made in Russia and Gillette has moved production to India for many great blades. I would compare these to the Gillette platinums and I’d say they are a bit less sharp than than feathers. They are good for a couple of shaves but I usually use them two or three times. I think they may be better on the second shave. They are fairly aggressive so I would be cautious as a beginner.

I usually use Feather but bought these to try and found them excellent quality. For the money they are hard to beat. They might not be quite as sharp as Feather blades but I get 2 to 3 more shaves out of them so they seem to stay sharper for longer? In any case well worth stocking up on.

Good quality blades. Sharp and smooth with decent edge retention. For me personally I get a better more comfortable shave with GSB. Could be due to my sensitive skin. Still great blades and will be stay in rotation with my GSB.**After using these blades for many months now, they have quickly become my 2nd favorite blade just behind Voskhod. These are just a tad bit sharper than Voskhod and almost just as smooth. I get at least 4-5 great shaves out of a blade and could probably get even more but for around 10 cents a blade I can afford a fresh blade after 4 or 5 uses. I would give up my remaining Rapira Plat Lux's(90) along with my Lord Plat Class(90ish) for even just 20 Gillette perma-sharp blades!

These pair well with my Henson AL13 razor, providing a very comfortable shave that cleanly slices through coarse beard hairs while going easy on sensitive skin. I’ll need more shaves to be sure, but I might like these even better than my current go-to blade, the Gillette Nacet. I can’t speak to durability, though, because I use a fresh new blade with each shave.As another review noted, these blades come on a neat-looking display card.

Took a flyer on these blades based on price and some of the reviews. I have been using feather and was hesitant to change. These might be better than feather. I get more shaves and less nicks. Very happy I took the chance.

Got these in a sampler pack... and I freaking love them! They look exactly like the ones I got in the sampler - Turkish alphabet, made in Russia. Still narrowing down - after trying over 20 different brands - between these, Shark Stainless, and Astra Stainless. All three are very similar, but these balance sharpness and gentleness. I have Eastern European thick beard with sensitive skin - tough combo - and these are perfect. Shark close second. Astra most gentle, but leaves stubble. Word on the street is that these won't be made in Russia anymore as P&G are closing (downsizing?) their factories there. So sad. I might get a couple more just to stock up. Sharks are made in Egypt, so I'll be ok, but better safe than sorry. These are common in sampler packs here on Amazon, so I'd recommend trying that first. If you don't like them, 100 is a lot! If you do like them, stock up!
