I Love It!
This is the best iron I've ever used. I'm 73 yrs. old and have been ironing for many yrs. For the money this iron can't be beat. It's lightweight and steams without spitting or dripping which makes ironing a breeze. I fill it with distilled water even though the directions say you may use plain tap water because I have very hard water where I live. There really isn't anything negative I can say about this Shark iron. I'd buy another in a heartbeat if this one stops working.

Cant go wrong with the Shark
I feel strongly about a good functioning iron and don't think I will ever buy anything but a Shark again. My last one broke after I dropped it one too many times. I had had it for years. I couldn't find a Shark locally so I tried some other brands and returned them all and went ahead and ordered the Shark. It's worth it. Quality made and they always work. They do make higer end more expensive models. I had one of those. This one seems just as good for a better price.

This is a great iron.
This iron is easy to use, easy to operate and works great. It has a loud click when it is returned to the upright position after using it in the steam mode. It is a great value for the money, well made and efficient.

This is a great iron!!!!
I love this iron. Shark has great products. It did take me a few a lil bit to get used to the buttons. Some of that may be due to the fact Im left handed. Although I do use my right hand to iron, I use my left hand to adjust the temperatures. The great thing about this iron, is that you can use it as a steamer also.I highly recommend purchasing this. Its the first iron I have purchased in years. Worth the money & seems built to last.

Simply awesome
I actually bought this exact one as a replacement that lasted for years. Best steam iron on the market in my opinion. I use it daily and the wife is a steamstress/dress maker. Im not sure when we bought the first one but probably close to 10 years. For a great iron at this price it is undeniably the best!

Love this iron
I love this iron! I use it mainly for when I am quilting. It irons well and there is never any grit on the bottom of it after spraying my material with the mist. Very easy to use too!

Great iron for someone who HATES to iron.
I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate to iron. I avoid it at all costs. But it is necessary evil sometimes. I decided if I was going to have to do it, I would at least get a better iron. Tossed all my old ones. We have hard water. Hopefully the self cleaning feature will keep the iron around long term. It worked perfectly on my children's cotton polo school uniforms.

Always flashing
Prospective buyers should be warned that this iron has no quiet "standby" state. When you plug it in, a green power light is illuminated. Even if you do not use it at all (that is, you have not set it to a heating temperature), within 7-9 minutes it will go into "auto-shutoff" state. The power light turns red, and it and another light start flashing. You can make it stop flashing by moving the iron, but you cannot just let the iron sit, powered on but not heating, without flashing. When you are using the iron, it will not shut off, and when it does shut off from lack of activity, you can revive it by moving it (though you do have to reset the temperature), but you can't just leave it turned off and at rest. Apparently the designer intended for it to be unplugged after every use. This is not practical for me, so I find this very unsatisfactory, especially since the flashing red lights reflect in the shiny metal-finish handle.
