I'm a casual writer. I take notes the old fashioned way - with a pen and paper. I'm very tactile and love a good quality notebook and paper. A5s are my favorite. I had high hopes for this notebook, but it didn't deliver and here's why...Pricey: Quality doesn't meet the cost. The black A5 has black and white striping inside. When closed, you can see the black and white peeping out on top. I feel this cheapens the look of the binder.Included paper: ugh. Low quality. Flimsy cardboard cover.Snape is OK, nothing special. It holds.Pen loop is basic elastic. A leather loop would have been nice.I will use this, but I've already replaced the paper it came with with a hard bound cream and good quality college ruled A5 with a ribbon for keeping place.

This is a handsome, compact notebook. There is an outside pocket on the back and inside slots for business cards or notes. There is a snap closure to keep everything inside secure. The notepaper is lined with header space for recording subject and date and space to indicate page number in the footer. A functional notebook that looks and feels good.

The kikki.K leather A5 notebook is totally lovely.I am a notebook fanatic, I have notebooks that I keep on everything..craft projects, to do's, have done, concepts, ideas you name it I am writing in a notebook about it!The leather work on this notebook is marvelous and both the inside front cover and the exterior rear cover have document pouches which is a very nice touch as well as business/credit card slots on the inside cover. The supplied paper is thick and prevents ink bleed through and is lovely to write on! The writer in me swooned at the sight of this lovely journal. The leather cover is beautiful with pockets for business cards or credit cards on the inside left. And it is refillable with any 8x5" notebook.
