Some people like to carry a pocket handkerchief. Personally, I like to be ready for a meal should one present itself. This full 5-piece setting can be carried in my large coat pocket and allows me to maintain my decorum should someone offer me a morsel to eat "out of the blue," so to speak.The knife is sharp enough to remove those stubborn crusts from sandwiches and also peel and slice an apple with relative ease. There is always a compromise when carrying a knife in one's pocket. It needs to be able to cut, yet safe enough so that one does not stab oneself when stumbling around the subway after imbibing a beverage, or three. Pocket knives can be misinterpreted by the increasingly wary security forces and a serrated blade seems a good compromise.But I digress.Admittedly this is hardly a complete set: there's no soup spoon, fish knife, etc. but one has to get by these days and this set has served me well (if you pardon the pun) and has not yet become bent or broken.

I was looking for a single place set of flatware to leave at work. Something inexpensive, but still decent quality. This set fit that bill perfectly.

Was expecting really strong silver ware for the money. It's thin and bent while i was washing it. Feel ripped off
