You will build amazing constructions. The booklet with the blocks depicts inspiring ideas — easy to difficult — for inspiration. These blocks are perfectly engineered to build creative complex structures. My nine-year old grandson built a wonderful maze for a ball to bounce and fall through to exit onto a long (slow) ramp. These blocks, quite counterintuitively to us, are the best the kids have had. No arches, no variations in size/shape yet the best by far. Because they are small, one can build up and up upon the play station on a card table. We appreciate the contained space for “toy” building blocks! Great for all ages.

My thirteen year old son had a smaller version that got ruined in the rain. We surprised him with this huge set last Christmas. He has been building ever since. This is a great way to let the imagination loose if you know someone who is into building structures. He uses it for everything from towers and buildings to marble runs. The storage bag is a great added bonus. These planks are heavy, but the bag is still holding up. The wonderful thing about these planks is that they are suitable for all ages.

There's blocks are surprisingly fun (for adults). Why? I had read that they are precisely cut and that would matter. I didn't really care.But then I played with the blocks. Guess what? Precision matters. When you build a house, bridge, or other whatever--the build goes easy. It seems forgiving of my errors. Just stack them up and they stay. So, really fun!

I loved these blocks and so did our grandson! These are so wonderfully made they will be passed on to generations! A child of any age will find a way to use these!

I had read about these and was a little reluctant to purchase because they appeared so simple and basic. I really didn't expect the kids would have much fun with them. I was pretty surprised how excited the kids have been to build with them. They are simple enough for young students, but can provide challenging problems for upper elementary students to solve as well.I think when we buy more for the school, I will probably opt to invest in the hardwood maple planks. The pine planks are decent and have been a good starter set... but after a few months of heavy use, a few planks are seeing a few dings and dents. However, it's worth noting that these have been used a lot (building and crashing) so overall they are holding up very well.

I purchased this as a gift for grandchildren (after getting the same set for for a different set of grandchildren). Repeat customer!! Although there are some ideas provided with the set, a child's creativity makes this really fun as they branch out from the basic ideas and make the creations their own. This is a great start for some physics and engineering work.

Like Legos, these blocks can spur the imagination .... inspire greatness.... or just be a fun toy where kiddos can build/demolish/smash/design complex races!

I love the many things that can be built wth it. It is a great gift for kids. I build with my grandson. I like it to. Brain stimulating.
