I run a cooking school in New York City. We often have left overs from various dressings, sauces, stocks and dishes. These steel lid containers are the best - why- because there is no contamination from the acids mixing with plastic lids - which was a major problem! I have thrown away the older plastic containers and only use the Home Magic containers. No more taste contamination from toxic plastics ! I highly recommend these containers- and that from someone who has run a cooking school for 35 years.

These storage containers look so much nicer than your average storage container. The stainless steel lids are a nice touch and make these very unique. If you like to have beautiful things in your kitchen, then get your self a set. They would also make ideal gifts because they are so unique.

Containers completely shattered upon arrival. My only option appears to be returning the items- am I really expected to ship back a bunch of shards of glass?

Admittedly I have a container/lunch ware problem/addiction and have justified this as functional market research. I've not yet seen a set of glass containers with a stainless steel lid. This is the first! The bowl itself (sans cover) is fine in the microwave - not tested yet in oven.Don't let the diminutive size fool you - these are very durable and leak proof. They look and work great and stand out in a lunch crowd. they're really cute and compact and pack easy in a lunch bag.

I ordered 2 sets . Unfortunately, one flap doesn’t lock well. It’s definitely going back.

I like how the lid fits in tightly.

Wow. I've never seen these anywhere else. Sleek, obviously very high quality. I washed them in the dishwasher a few times by now and it comes perfect. Would be a great gift as well. Thank You!!!!

Only complaint is that I can’t microwave the lid. Other than that this is a wonderful product!
