I ordered this pillow for my father who is now confined to either a Lay-Z-Boy rocker or bed. As a result, he’s developed a major pressure sore on the edge of his gluteal cleft. This pillow has made a major difference! It’s lightweight for the caregiver, making it easy to carry, adjust position, and move (this is a huge bonus that you won’t understand until you’re a caregiver), and sturdy and purposeful for the user. My dad’s face lit up with excitement and relief when we first positioned him upon it. I gave the “softness” quality three stars because it’s not overly soft — it needs a moderate degree of firmness or the problem it’s meant to help will not be addressed — but that’s the perfect balance of cushiness and density necessary. I would definitely buy more products from this company based on the success of this one.

It is hard when you have to sit for long amounts of time. This really helps. Makes it much more comfortable.

Good for its purpose but pillow itself is hard.

My sister fell off a ladder and injured her tailbone. Not broken, but very painful. She was using a blowup donut the hospital sent home with her. I knew she needed something better because it will take a log time to heal. She has used the new donut for several days and loves it. Says it helps a lot.

I bought fhe first one and it helped a lot of my butt pain. And the memory form worked so well. Then I got the second one for my mom, it was hard as a rock. Very different than the first one and I had to return the second one.

It was too soft and didn’t help my tailbone. I have the same pillow and it is much firmer and works well. Love my first one but this one did not do its job.

Item is Great. After using the donut for several days my spine and sciatica started to improve. I highly recommend trying this for pain relief if sitting is painful.Update:I am still using this. I take it with me in one of those free cheap nylon string back packs. It's a perfect fit. Also keeps the donut clean. I don't have to take it out and everyone doesn't have to see me carrying my donut around. LOL! But it takes pressure off the spine and provides more comfort when sitting. I highly recommend if you are suffering like I was. My sciatica has improved. I highly recommend this product because it is made well. Quality!! Cleans easy with a spong, soap and water. Great memory foam. I've had it for months and it remains it's shape. I weigh 160lbs. So you figure that's pretty good! I've been using it for about 4mo now. Bounces right back, doesn't flatten. It's a great ASSet to have! I think you'll be grateful you made the choice to buy it. Feel better!

This is a perfect size for people who have a smaller frame and "behind". This works well and is easily portable, too.
