RO/DI water plus Salty Shrimp is the way to go when setting up or maintaining a Neocaridina shrimp tank. One note from experience using the product: purchase a gram scale and measure out the amount of product you use and your resulting TDS results when adding to a known volume of RO/DI water. You will soon have calculated how much Salty Shrimp you need to add per gallon of RO/DI water to get your target TDS. Once you have that figured out it makes water changes a breeze.

I bought it for shrimp tanks but also now use a small dose in all my planted tanks. Inverts and plants love it.

First time shrimp keeper and my first tank went extinct. After investing in a RO system along side this my neocaridina are surviving and thriving.Also i when i purchased my second batch of shrimp it came with 4 berried females all of which gave birth safely within a few days in a new tank

The gh and kh is not consistent. Ph is upper 7s at the correct dose. Better to buy just the gh+ version of this and do your own kh with something like seachem alkaline buffer.

Best stuff around for Neocaridina and Caradina. I love how it stopped my molting deaths. Do things the right way and buy this.
