Does this product work on carpet beetles?

Thanks for the question. The glue in the trap is strong enough to capture the beetles. However, there are no attractants included that will draw the carpet beetle in. This trap is specifically for the two worst offending moths that feed on cloth: the case bearing (aka case making) and the web spinning moth.

What Oils are used in the Traps to attract clothes moths?

Hello, Our traps use a natural pheromone formula produced in the glue that is released into the environment that affects the behavior or physiology of adult male moths trying to mate pulling them into the trap. Our pheromone has no scent and is undetectable to humans. Cheers!
