Xbox 360 320GB Hard Drive

I bought the Xbox 360 320GB Hard Drive, needing some more storage for downloading an installing games like Battlefield 3 and Skyrim, So I looked around and found this is exactly what I needed for only 100bucks I could get 320GB, so being that crafty consumer I like to think I am, I jumped on the deal, (Please note like in all storage devices it is not actually 320GB but about 270GB, still more than you'll use.) It arrived only 2 days after ordering thanks to Amazon Prime, and also included was a code for Lego Star Wars 3, to download for free. Which made it even better, a 30 dollar value ( Based on Xbox Direct to Download Price) for free. Installation was as easy as sliding it in and that's it, only took seconds. I highly enjoy Microsoft products and this one is official so there is no risk. Why sit there looking at a knock off for 30 less when you can have a quality official product? My Hard Drive still works, continues to work without issues, and I expect it to work until I stop using the Xbox when the Xbox720 comes out. For me buying this is a no brainier, and you get Star Wars for Free (In My Case). I have an XBox 360 4gig so I bought this hard drive. I had read on here those cheaper ones you could not do this or that but this is not the case with this hard drive. It just slid right in my Xbox and it works. One mistake I made was I bought a data transfer cable but I found out with the 4 gig version you do not need it because it does not have the big hard drive in the unit. So when you install this hard drive you still have everything on your 4 gig and you can add things to the 320 gig hard drive. Worth going with the official Microsoft hard drive because it works with the machine no problems at all. The Lego game is a free download but I haven't played it much.

Pros: because it's in the Xbox 360 slim proprietary enclosure, the drive slots right into the 360 slim and works first time. it shows right up in the system and just works. Cons: When I put this in my cart, it was available with Prime shipping. By the time I hit buy (with several other things in my cart), it required shipping costs (no prime). I did not see this until AFTER I'd placed the order, so I guess bad one on me, but having an item go from prime shipping to not while in your cart is not acceptable. Also, this drive arrived with 283 gigs available. I was suspicious when looking at the packaging - this is NOT genuine Microsoft packaging, just a really close facsimile. I do not know how much space the 360 software takes on the drive, but considering I put this in a 4 gig 360 slim, I expected it to be the same small foot print Not so. Overall, I feel this was a bit of a shady deal. I put a 320 gig drive with prime in my cart, and instead received ~ 290 gig drive that I ended up paying too much for shipping on. Buyer beware.

Grandkids got an xbox 360 4GB E console for Christmas and I knew 4 gigs wasn't going to be enough for all their games and downloads. Sure enough, one of their games took 8GB to play so they couldn't play it and it was on a disc. Well, I purchased this 320GB hard drive a couple of days ago and now they have plenty of room for games, music, videos, etc. It also came with 4 game codes to redeem. Kind of cool. One was just an add on though and they can't use it because they don't have that game. No prob. This thing is great! It was easy to install. You just open a portion of the side panel on the right of the console near the back and snap the hard drive right into the slot, snap the panel portion back on and you're ready to go. I do wish that sellers would state that these slim hard drives also work for E consoles as well in their titles and item descriptions. I had to contact Microsoft and ask 2 techs if this hard drive would work with the E console and was told yes. Wasn't even sure what console the Grandkids had because the box it came in only said xbox 360. I found out it was an E from speaking with a Gamestop employee before contacting Microsoft. Anyway this product is awesome and I would recommend for anyone needing more hard drive space for their slim and E xbox 360 console.

So...it's a hard drive. Yes, Microsoft has a normal Western Digital Scorpio Blue if I'm not mistaken, slapped it in an enclosure, marked it up, and sells it as an official Xbox product. I'll admit, I was debating on going through the hoops to buy the hard drive on its own, an enclosure on its own, upgrade the firmware, yadda yadda yadda, but finally the official hard drives went on sale for something a little more reasonable, so I snagged it. I'll admit, I feel better since Microsoft did commit to booting those with "unoffial" hardware, which can include the hard drive (I have no idea if they are or aren't), and while I'm all for saving a few bucks, it wasn't worth the risk for me personally, YMMV. As for the hard drive itself, thanks to the Slim being so accessable, you just pop it in, that's all the there is to it, its shaped so you couldn't do it wrong unless you tried really really hard (but you'd break the thing first). It comes with a code for Lego Star Wars, which is kinda lame personally, but for free, meh, I still played it for half an hour, and its good if any of the nephews come over. I really only decided on getting the harddrive since Battlefield 3 REQUIRES one, even though I had plenty of space on the onboard flash memory, and had a fast USB flash drive 16gb on it. So, it does its purpose for what I needed, and now I can load it with tons of junk if I choose to. So, in summary, its a 320GB hard-drive for the Xbox 350 SLIM, it comes with Lego Star Wars III for free, and is a snap to install (and so far works flawlessly). Get it on sale, and you'll be happy and won't have to worry about it.

This hard drive is great. I had a original 20gb 360 since 2006. So as Xbox Live grew I needed more and more memory. I most recently had gotten a 120gb hard drive but, soon after that my 360 caught the red ring of death. So after that it was time to upgrade to the Slim 360 4gb I found this on Amazon for like $110, I was sold. After it came I found out it came with a free game as well. I honestly feel like I got my moneys worth. Now I can install all my games so I don't have to hear the spinning disc in the drive (Really hated that in the original 360)Bottom line I am very happy with my purchase and if your looking to upgrade to a bigger Hard Drive give this a look, its way cheaper than it used to be.

Bought this 11/12/13 I was sold a defective drive and Amazon refuse to take it back on return because the vender (Worldwide Distributers) has a return policy that forbids a return of this drive but after checking they're policy it does not state gaming accessories in they're return policy. I sent several e-mails to Amazon but they THEY STILL REFUSED to take back this drive even though it was defective. They tell me it has a manufacture warranty and to contact Microsoft but I called MS and was on hold for hours. I was finally was able to contact MS through instant message on they're website customer support. I gave them information on my issue with the hard drive and they confirmed the drive was defective and told me to return it to the vender I purchased it from. I told them it was Amazon and they wouldn't return it, MS was surprised that Amazon wouldn't return a defective item MS said they will take it back so long it wasn't a bogus product but that the web site was down due to Holiday events (note:this was more than a week before Black friday) and that they would send me an email with more info. As of this date still no email from Microsoft I sent a couple emails still nothing from MS. BUYER BEWARE I'm now here sitting with a defective Item right out of the box it cost me $107for nothing. I still have to return this to MS when and if I get an email from them and hope and see if they return this product or I'm out of luck. WARNING to all Amazon doesn't not return all products check the details next time you order something especially hard drives or other electronics. I have sent several emails to Amazon and now they closed my case and will not take any more emails about this purchase in other words t I'm stuck with this defective Item. Amazon made me the bad guy for buying something from they're shady vender Worldwide Distributors. One last note I'm a Prime Member this is how they treat their customers. Amazon has they poorest customer service they have grown enormously and can care less of the little guy. Next time I'll buy from Best Buy at least I can walk in for a return and they still show a smile to they're customers. This is a good hard drive and works perfectly, but it is over priced! Other companies make it cheaper, but of course Microsoft makes you buy their brand for certain features, including downloading games to your hard drive. I already had an internal 320 GB hard drive, but was forced to get this one. Shame, shame, you greedy company Microsoft (but still not as bad as Apple).

Love product but dropping from 5 star to 4 star considering lower GB! Product on website and cover from Microsoft says 320GB but when plugged into xbox it shows total capacity only approx 290GB! in whole context it doesnt matter but why show false information! I ordered item from Zupitex and it arrived in very good condition and well within shipping dates committed. 5 stars to them.

OEM Xbox 360 HDD, fair price. I slotted this into my Xbox 360E and it worked perfectly, right away. Drive was empty and I transferred 100gb of data to it straight away, freeing up the external drive I have been using for years for other uses. Additionally, my Xbox360E is now backwards campatible with a host of original Xbox games!

Não é original, já espera algo do tipo. Porem apesar de ser reconhecido como um HD Microsoft ele não roda jogos que precisam de um HD original, se ele é um clone de firmware não foi bem feito.
