Does this help with etched marble surfaces? I have a dining room table that looks terrible due to etching from food and drink spills.

I don't know if it will cover etching, but I know that it did NOT make my marble table shine at all. It did not make any difference. But it did smell nice. That is it.

Can this be used on marble floors?

While I love using this wax on my marble and stone table tops and vanities, I would not use it on floors because of the slippery surface that may cause falls. This shine is fantastic, but a floor covered with this product could prove to be hazardous.

Does this wax come off when you place food on it? Is it poisonous if it accidentally comes in contact with food??

It is a polish you polish it on leave it for about 15 minutes then polish it off it brings up the natural seen in the Marble so it

do i need a buffing tool for these products?

No buffing equipment works as well as your own hands on polishing. Over time, the shine is engrained and requires less effort. I love this product.
