I have used Space Pens since the middle 70‘s. They are my favorite pens and I have continued to use them. I tend to lose one before it runs out of ink. I found early on that a Space Pen refill would fit a Parker body and make a reasonable substitute for a genuine Space Pen, but, for some reason, the refill stopped working quite so well in Parker bodies. They would jam and be difficult to use. When I saw an original Space Pen on Amazon, I ordered two. They work perfectly, and my writing happiness is complete. The story is that NASA spent millions on research to make a pen that writes upside down, in a vacuum, under water, and when it stops writing, really is out of ink. The Soviets gave the Cosmonauts pencils. I thought, “Why should all that research go to waste?”

Outstanding pen! I'm writing a novel, and do almost all of my riding by dictating into my phone, while lounging horizontally. When I print out copies to revise, I can never find a pen that will work when I hold the work up where I can read it. Other pens either: 1. run out of ink because of the angle and have to be reset flat; 2. Dry out almost immediately, if they are fiber pin; or 3. Skip over any place my oily hand might have been on the page. This wonderful pen does absolutely none of that. It writes perfectly from any angle, over every part of the page, for as long as I want to. I can lay it aside without having to put a cap on it, and then pick it up and use it again immediately. After only one day of owning it, I wonder how I could have used anything else. I am a customer for life. This pen works every bit as well as space pens they cost over twice as much. I highly recommend it!

I have two of these pens, one I leave at home and one I carry in my purse. Love them, they work great at any angle and even when I'm sitting out in the summer Florida heat and humidity by the pool. No problems ever and the ink doesn't dry out and screw up the pen.

So far a very nice pen. If it continue like this for the next yearf I will be satisfied.

I own this model (black plastic space shuttle model) and the raw bronze capomatic. I love my raw bronze, but I got this model for my car as an extra and trustworthy pen and not thinking very well of the plastic aspect. However I’ve come to love this pen too. It has a plastic barrel but the cap is still metal. The result is that it’s very comfortable in hand, and a little top heavy. I can write for longer with this one comfortable, where with my bronze I find my fingers fatigue faster (mind you I’m not accustomed to writing very much at a time, nor do I have an occupation or hobbies that require that etc). Don’t snuff at this model just because it does use plastic, and if youre into it but prefer a model/design that has a higher price point I say go for it because it might just end up being your favorite pen!

After another pen of mine leaked internally, gumming up the spring, I decided to give this a try. I am an aircraft mechanic that works in very hot conditions so I figured a sealed, pressurized cartridge would be the way to go. Also, I've wanted one of these since the 80's. :) It works well. The build quality seems a little light, but I guess with this kind of economy one you are mostly paying for the cartridge. So far so good though. If it runs out or breaks I'll probably get one of their brass ones.

Love my Fisher space pen. Got this as a gift for my Co workers. The pen write perfectly all the times with awesome reliability. Must have for all Law enforcement officers, security officers, and outdoor people.
