Restores the bottom end that was removed during the recording process, in the studio, and it does happen so people don't blow their stuff up. It makes a BIG difference for a lot of my cd's from the 80's. Associated equipment is Alpine head unit, CDA117, Audio Control 3.2, Kimber Kable KCAG .5m, fully silver rca's from head unit to pre-amp. Preamp to Epicenter to Zuki Audio 5 channel Eleets via Stinger 8000 silver clad rca's, JL Audio 10W3V4 in a sealed box, Audio Dynamic components , 6.5" midbass/1" tweeters, through their respective passive crossovers, 4 sheets of Dynamat per door, various areas of my Toyota Rav 4. It is a sound quality set up, and sounds really good. The Epicenter really makes a big difference, it's NOT coming out. For $150, well worth the money spent. Review: Fun addition to car audio. - Works very well. Extremely nice little toy for adding bass to classics. Just be sure to set up the remote so you can turn it off quickly if you start playing a song that actually has bass in the soundtrack.
