I'm impressed
I got rid of my old DVD player years ago. For whatever reason I hung on to all the DVDs. And there's a lot of them. The idea was that I could see these movies by streaming them anytime I want. But now they're charging five bucks a whack. So back to the DVD player. This little guy works great. Totally impressed. Definitely would buy again. Takes up almost no space. Picture quality is great.

No HDMI cable included
Unit seems to work OK. Picture and sound quality not great, but wasn’t expecting a lot for the price. Don’t often play DVDs (like never), but am planning to borrow some from the library, and needed something other than my pc to play them on. There is no HDMI cable included, although it does not say so on the box, and I could not find it in the Amazon ad. Luckily, I had a cable on hand.

Full Size Performance, Very Small Footprint & Price
I bought this very small DVD player for a relatively cramped viewing/playback area in my RV. Given its low cost and very small size, I did not expect it to perform as well as my larger, full-feature Sony DVD player in my home theater. However, I compared them by playing the same home-made (self-recorded family archive) DVD and a commercial DVD (specifically a Charlies Angels action movie). I fed them each to my Sony Bravia 55" screen via the same HDMI input. The picture and sound quality were identical! The user controls/menus, however, were very different. The Craig menus/controls are much clunkier (i.e., not polished/pretty) but they still do everything I want to do.The bottom line: This is a very good deal and does everything a larger, more expensive player can do. The user controls may take a bit of getting used to but after playing a few DVDs you'll probably find you've adapted. If not, give it to your kids!! They can handle it for sure! :-)

definitely cheap
very much getting what you're paying for.it works well enough, but the picture quality and video size are pretty crappy. watched a movie and it looked more like it was from a shady website than an official dvd. the volume only goes up to 15 and ive only been able to get the tv volume to make it louder sometimes.doesnt do bluetooth despite being made in 2024 (maybe this was common sense but i sort of assumed that most if not all dvd players also did bluetooth at this point in time?)also the remote is on the same frequency that all of the little string light remotes are on so when i try and navigate a disc menu my lights start strobing.i know ive talked about a lot of the downsides, but my point is that it works. it does what it says and i can watch my dvds.

the price is right for this decent unit!
My wife & I are worship leaders at our "little" church; our 5 disc CD player has been threatening to bite the dust in recent weeks; after it refused the play a CD (after it had played it completely!), I decided to get something with decent reviews and that had its own volume control. This unit fits the bill for the most part, best thing is the price. Yes, as some say, it's a bit clunky sounding plus it auto shuts off a bit too quick for us, but it will do!! (it won't be used for DVD playback, at least we don't plan on doing so)
