True Union Ball Valve Water Pump Socket with Extra End Connector, 1-Inch

I used this to control flow from my overflow box on my aquarium.to my sump prefilter before the bio media. Very easy to turn the valve...unlike the home improvement $5 jobbies. With rigid pipe plumbing, I need something I can reach and turn with one hand without stabilizing the other connected pieces to keep them from bending/breaking. This is a great quality product. I will buy this again if I plumb with pvc pipe again.

I think these valves are a must have for any aquarium owner who has a sump. I have multiples of these as well as gate valves on all of my plumbing. These are used to turn on/off lines and with the union I can swap out plumbing as needed when I get new equipment or simply for cleaning. Awesome product.

worked as I expected with no problems

I would give the quality of the valves themselves four stars, as the handles tend to be a bit stiff acting. I'm giving an overall rating of two stars based on the amount I was charged for shipping - just shy of forty dollars, for a package that should have cost, at the maximum, twenty dollars given its size, weight, and the fact it was shipped regular UPS ground. Unfortunately, the exorbitant shipping charge escaped my notice until after I received the valves.

These ball valves are as advertised. High quality, with threaded adapters and glue joint adapters. Great price for a great product.

I was not expecting great things from this valve, but I was unable to find reasonably priced Cepex valves. I gave these a shot and was presently surprised! They turn very easily, great for my new aquarium build.

Product arrived exactly as expected. Easy to disassemble and clean.
