Songbird Essentials SE7018 Hummer Helper Nesting Material Refill

Just put in my 5th refill of this bedding material! Best customers are goldfinch, but many species of small birds, humming birds and chipmunks all favor this over other brands.Live how quickly it drysI am a bit of a "birder" and brands matter!I need a super multi-pack?

I buy these every year for my birds in the garden. All types of birds use this product for nesting purposes. The product is very soft and durable. It does require the cage that holds the product for hanging.

The birds loved this so much I had to buy a second sheet. Highly recommend this product. Not just for hummingbirds. All the birds were picking at it.

I got this last summer for the hummingbirds that frequent our feeder- i have not yet witnessed them taking any nesting material, but the Goldfinches and housefinches love it!The holder is easy to use and held up very well so we got a refill for this summer.

As soon as I out this filler out in the holder I have for it, it is quickly gone. I would say the birds in northern Indiana love this stuff! It is very soft and fluffy so I imagine there are some cozy bird nests out there for the little babies! 😊

When I got the package, I was like, this is not what I ordered. It was so thin!. After taking it out of the bag, I tried to see if I could fluff it up a bit. That did the trick! I purchased this to fill some vine balls ( see photo) I had purchased and used the year before. I was able to fill 3 vine balls with this nesting material. So far so good! Success!

I have numerous bird feeders and it’s great seeing so many varieties of sing birds all gravitating towards this nesting material. I get this product every early spring and the birds love it. I recommend hanging it in the metal cage dispenser made by the same company and placing it near your feeders.

I used the red cage with this nesting fluff last year and my songbird population exploded! I now have a gigantic mixed flock and I credit this nesting fill.They take a few days to find any nesting material but they LOVE this stuff! Especially the goldfinches, they continued to take from it all spring and into the summer.I love to see them flying away with a big cloud of fluff and going up to their nest!I saw in reviews how the refill some people got was skimpy and this is quite the opposite, it's thicker than the fill that came with the cage last spring.The various songbirds seem to like getting at this when I lay it flat on a plant stand. I tried hanging it when it first arrived and it swung around a lot and they didn't go near it. On the plant stand they can hop around on it and take their time scooping up big beakfuls.This is one of my favorite purchases!

Used for baby bird nest box!

I've placed this in several different locations in my yard and have NOT seen any birds use it. I dont recommend it. I would actually like to rate as 0 but have to give it at least 1.
