doesn't last
Bought as a Christmas present so didn't get much use until spring and then broke after about six uses. The band that broke looks old and weathered, as if it had been sitting drying out for years before sale. While it worked it was great but I am amazed and deeply disappointed it broke so soon. And no way to repair it, either, no way to tie it back together. So do not expect hours of fun from this, more like an hour. Kinda pricey for such little utility.

Broke on first use
This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my 7y/o, but took 20 days to receive (arrived way late and 5 days after Christmas). So it turned into an Easter gift. He was so excited when he seen the bow. Opened it up, took it outside, loaded his FIRST arrow, pulled it back putting a little bit of tension on the bow not near enough to even launch the arrow, and BANG, the bow broke in half at the handle. JUNK!!!!!! And of course I am way out of the return period.

A good safe bow, not weak but not exceedingly powerful
This is one of the the best bows on the market today and for the the foreseeable future. the bow arrived in perfect condition and unlike the reviews state the arrows were in good shape as well. A good bow for children and adults my sons and my husband can't stop playing with it ever since we bought it. Contrary to other reviews the silicone bowstring did not crack of strain if you handled it properly and did not dry out. I do not recommend shooting other people with this bow because although it is not powerful enough to severely hurt someone it can still be quite painful if you are shot at a close range. Also the 125 ft range is not a lie as I previously stated this bow is not just a flimsy jumble of plastic, I have shot across the neighborhood with this bow (200ft) but constantly pulling the bow back to its farthest point is not recommended. I hope this review will assist other families who are looking for a bow that their kids can have fun with and not hurt each other but will not break in 30 seconds.

As good as Nerd brand!
My son broke his poorly made suction arrow from another set. I allowed him to use his own money to buy a replacement. He chose this one because it was what he could afford. It is so much better than what he already had and comparable to the really pricey ones. We like it so much we bought wine for our neighbor’s birthday gift.

Very sturdy. Well-made and the arrows are fantastic. Cheaper than retail stores and just as good quality.
My son saw a bow like this at Bass Pro Shop and fell in love. I came to Amazon to find a cheaper option and this was perfect. He loves it, and plays with it nearly everyday. It starts out being really tight and hard to pull, which was discouraging for him. It took a while for him to warm up to it because of that, but I appreciate that it will last longer and the hard stretch makes it sturdy. I can find nothing wrong with the construction. It's tough and a perfect size for my 7 year old son. He's had it for a year now and has not come close to outgrowing it. I do recommend buying an extra pack of arrows. Three arrows is not nearly enough. The arrows they sell are very, very good. They fly very well, whistle loudly and the suction works great. If you want to spend less than what you would at Bass Pro Shop, definitely go with this one. It's been a fantastic toy for my boys.

Proper Expectations (and extra Arrows) Will Make This a Favorite Toy
I bought this Zing Air Hunterz Z-Curve Bow for my 6 year old son for his birthday. He views himself as quite the warrior, and I liked this because it was soft tipped arrows which meant he wouldn't hurt anyone in his attempt to save the world.Pros:--soft tipped arrows, one suction cup and 2 whistle arrows that are lots of fun--can be enjoyed by a wide variety of ages. My older 12 year old son enjoyed this as well as my younger 4 year old son.--under $20--makes outdoor play more fun--long range shooting--difficult to injure anyoneCons:--really easy to lose arrows. I recommend buying the extra pack--might be difficult for younger kids to hook arrows in loops--bow is not super sturdy. Ours broke after a few monthsAll in all my kids love this bow. It didn't last a long time but it seems that is the norm these days. That said, with proper expectations, I feel like this can be a really great purchase. I'll probably buy another one next summer because they enjoyed this one so much.

Broke after a month or so use
We bought this bow and arrow and were so excited! It was our youngest one's favorite toy. After school, on weekends, he played with it all the time. Until it broke after using it a little over a month. The orange stretchy band snapped from one side. It looked brittle as if it was years old. We truly hope to get a replacement as our youngest is heartbroken and sad for not having his toy available anymore. So far, we have not heard back from the seller. I will follow up, if I do.

Fun, safe bow & arrow for the suburbs!
We live in a suburb. Real bows and arrows don't fit in here. This Air Hunterz Z-Curve Bow was the perfect alternative for our 8-year-old son, who desperately wanted a bow and arrow set for Christmas. Our 12-year-old and 14-year-old loved playing with them also, so we ended up buying two more. The trigger feature takes some practice, but once they figured out how to shoot the arrows long distances, they wanted to play with them every day! I also think this toy would be great for fine and gross motor strengthening and skill-building, because it works the fingers and hand muscles. For this reason, our youngest son found the bow difficult to use at first, but with practice was able to shoot the arrows with precision and ease. We take these to a large grassy area near our home and let the boys aim away. The arrows with the spongy tip (when compared to the suction cup) are our boys' favorite. They seem to fly a bit farther. I recommend you buy extra arrows, as we have already lost a few and have had to purchase more.
