Spring is Here! Paperback – Illustrated, March 15, 2013

This is well done picture book that welcomes spring with familiar pictures of weather, activities, foods, objects, sights and sounds. The author has other books in her nature series on other seasons. Toddlers and preschoolers will delight in the simple pictures and read aloud text. Parents might want to visit the author's website for activities and recipes.

The kids loved the simple text and the pictures were great teaching tools for discussing signs of spring. Every page had lots to talk about. A fabulous book for sharing what the kids love about all the seasons.

This book is uplifting, fun to read, and makes children smile their widest and yet still think what is being read to them. The children learn while being entertained!

"Spring is Here" is the perfect book for my preschooler! He's just learning to read and he loves the repetition of "spring is here" as it gives him confidence in his reading abilities. He loves seeing the great pictures of all the adorable animals - and me too, as the illustrations are really fantastic! It's also a book that holds the attention of my two year old, so I love having a book that meets multiple age groups. I highly recommend this book - and you should also check out the other books in this series (Autumn is Here and Winter is Here) as those are also much loved in my house!
