A pleasant, useful surprise
My husband got a pair as a gift (the original purchaser decided he didn't like them) and found that the glasses were light but remarkably useful and best of all, inexpensive enough to keep around more than one pair -- which is why I got him a backup pair. Recommended!

Good idea but did not work for me
Adjustable range of glasses was not enough for me for reading. Good idea but did not work for me.

You aimed at the right target but completely missed the bull's eye!
Meh! The goal of these glasses is the holy grail for eyeglasses wearers: clear vision at various shorter distances. However, these glasses are very flimsy. They work as described but the "sweet spot" is very small and they are not a good substitute for reading glasses. Good idea but poor execution. More a novelty than a good solution for eyeglass wearers

The field of focus is narrow. If you are sewing or reading, they work fine. But if you need to glance up often from your task, it is difficult, since the glasses must sit up high on your nose.

I would not recommend these
The glasses were shipped in a mailing bag. Too flimsy and non-protective to really protect the product. The case the glasses were in was cracked, and well handled, with greasy fingerprints and scratches. The glasses themselves are poorly made, although I believe the concept would work if they were properly constructed. The travel on one of the lenses was defective. As this brand exists, it is, quit simply, a waste of money, the packing for shipping is inadequate, the product is poorly made, and not worth the money. Assuming they could ship me a fully functional pair, I wouldn't pay more than $5, and then only as a novelty. I would gladly pay up to $100 for a well made, optically excellent pair, but you won't find that here.

As advertised!
Great for use after cataract surgery until I can be fitted for distance glasses. As per other reviews...they are fragile and will break easily. They are easily adjustable so just be gentle with them and remember...you will NOT make a fashion statement but you will be able to see! Great idea!

Glasses work but they look ridiculous
These glasses are ridiculous looking but if you don't want to spend a lot and you need a little help for visual changes, they will suffice. You may want to use them sitting at your desk. You can easily adjust them to the strength that works for you. They are far from fashionable.
