RCA VR5210 2GB Digital Voice Recorder

I figured Hammacher Schlemmer did the studies, and thus this was a good buy. Well, it is capable, but nothing to rave about. The volume is limited, so that you have to hold it next to your ear to fully hear it well. Also, they call each entry entered separately, a "file" - well, perhaps, I would call it just an entry. A bit complicated finding the right entry "file", but then, perhaps I am just too old for all the digital ins and outs of these kinds of things. It does record, and it does play back, which is all I truly wanted. So it does what it promised.

This is very handy and priced right. I purchased as a gift for a friend's 11 year-old son. He has no problem operating it, so any adult should find it intuitive and helpful. Has three easy to use "folders" and will store more than 500 hours of voice. Compared to higher priced models from competitors - if all you need is a record and play-back device - look no further.

It Blew the Speaker 30 Min's After I Got It But The Company Gave Me A Refund . So I Did Not Get To Do What I Wanted , Disappointed But Refunded !

IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!! New batteries installed. Tried repeatedly and can't make it work. So disappointed.
