Perfect for high contrast drawing.
I included a quick sketch; for this I wanted the contrast to really bite — as it does in the photo it was copied from — and these pencils did not disappoint. It is easy to get really solid blacks without that graphite sheen that other pencils give. They are very soft so you need to sharpen with a really sharp scalpel or something similar, or a high quality pencil sharpener with a sharp blade in it. Also handle them gently.Great pencils, easy to handle, they work well for anything from quick light sketches to pitch black. If you draw a lot, get some 7B and have a go, especially if you have never used such soft pencils.
