LC-11 1 Morse Taper Medium Duty Live Center

I've used this on a couple of lathe projects, and it works perfectly well to hold the far end of a wood block in place. It is so much better than the dead end that came with my inexpensive small lathe. It makes a world of difference.

I used this to replace the original live center that came with my Craftsman lathe. This center is much easier to use than the original one.

I use this with my lathe and it functions properly.

Bought this for an old Craftsman 12-inch lathe new it was not the right size but could not find a replacement I replaced the tail spindle with a home made one and so far it is working.

So far so good. I use mine in an old late 50’s/early 60’s Craftsman monotube lathe. The live center is a little large, so you lose about 1 1/2” of working length, but it’s smooth and works fine.

I bought this for my 1978 Craftsman wood lathe it takes a MT 1 . It fills well made, bearings turn smoothly no play. The chart on the box shows 5000 rpm max. I chose this live center because it has three bearings not one . Other live center for wood lathes in this price range I looked at had complaints of sloppy bearings and falling apart .

I bought this to replace the live center on my 1972 craftsman lathe. The product fit perfect and I have had 0 issues with it.
