NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, Medium, Santa Fe, 1 Fl Oz (B002NZXKMK)

Perfect match, not irritating and overall long lasting and perfect finish, love it!

The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation was a game changer for me. I love that it's lighweight, natural looking, it's silky and glides on my skin effortlessly. (I use a foundation brush and a primer) I have 50 year old face and it doesn't settle into my fine lines and I am able to build in coverage for my imperfections. I also have normal to dry skin and it doesn't dry me out. What I love the most, is it doesn't give me that "mask" look that you get with some foundations. I love this product!

Easy to apply and was able to find my color match super easily on the website! Very light coverage but makes me look a bit more put together! Great value for the amount of foundation you get.

My second favorite foundation. I love that sheer and natural looking coverage. Not cakey, doesnt have awful smell. The only thin i hate is it doesnt have a pump. Over all good quality and performance.

I've been using the NARS Sheer Glow foundation in Santa Fe for about 2 months now and I do like it but it's not perfect and I probably won't buy it again. Before using this foundation, I never gave much thought to my skin type because no foundation I've ever used has been negatively affected by whatever type my skin is. However, this SG foundation absolutely highlighted all the negative things about my skin like inconsistent texture, dry skin patches, and oily patches. I learned that I have combination skin and my T-zone gets fairly oily during the day while my cheeks, chin, and between my eyebrows are dry. On the oily parts, SG lays on top of my skin like an film and rubs right off at the end of the day, no matter what primer I use. On the dry parts, it looks scaly and patchy. SG does not apply easily and I really had to play around with application techniques as well as different lotions and primers underneath to get it to look even. If I'm not perfectly exfoliated, moisturized, and primed before applying the foundation, there's no making it look good. It really extended my morning makeup routine. However, when I finally did get the application down, I must admit my skin looked freaking perfect.TL;DR: Although SG made my skin look really great, it took a long time to figure out how to make that happen and it extended my morning makeup routine too much. I will not buy it again.
