Noble Collection - Harry Potter Replica 1/1 Marauder's Map

I've been a big fan of prop replica items from Harry Potter for a while and this didn't disappoint. Noble Collection does a great job of creating really nice pieces for collectors.The quality of paper used is amazing. It's very durable if you want a map that can stand by itself. But if you want to scuff it up and wear it down for a more rugged look, you have some wiggle room to do so with the paper. It's much larger than you'd expect, so good luck getting a good hold of the map and opening each side with one hand!The actual design and writing on the map are not 100% accurate to the movie. All of the visuals and locations are there, but the movie has more line and writing detail overall, which you'd expect. But at a glance, and even a deeper glance, no one would know the difference (unless you have the map open while watching Prisoner of Azkaban, which I happened to when I was looking at it). It also features a very prominent Harry Potter logo and Warner Bros. legalese on the back, which is a bit annoying but also required.I do recommend this 100% if you want a nice collector's piece for your wall or shelf!

I wasn’t sure what I was getting when I bought this for my wife. But the detail is amazing!!!! The weight and feel make seems as though it’s the real thing. It’s very high quality. The small details are what set it apart like tiny words in ares that say what a section is or that wrap around a tree. It’s small but still easy to read. It was money well spent. She loved it!

I am a huge hp fan and have been for as long as I can remember. Seen the movies and read the books hundreds of times. This is an amazing buy to add to any potter fans collection and it is a very detailed map. My only issue is that as detailed as it is I wish the two sides would match up just a little better and that there were character names throughout the hallways, classrooms, etc. Overall I would most certainly recommend this to anyone who loves Harry Potter but be aware that if you are a stickler for the most tiny of details there are a few issues you will have. Don't let that make your decision for you though, this is the most well made map any fan could ask for, the parchment is thick and sturdy and its HUGE! It will look great as a display on the wall or on the bookshelf to be played with by any and all age fans. I will always order from The Noble Collection, the quality is unbeatable.

WAYYYY bigger than it was in the movie. Great otherwise just wish it was a more accurate replica. The detail is amazing down to the little bits and the paper is thick kinda like a poster board so no use I'm worrying about rips.

Okay, couple things here... As a huge Harry Potter fan, I'm on a mission to purchase all Harry Potter prop replicas, and if you are too, then The Noble Collection is the way to go! As for this map, I was a bit iffy about it because of the back and forth reviews, but I bought it anyways due to my current mission... Upon receiving this Marauders Map, I don't understand where all the negativity is coming from! It's a beautiful piece and, in my opinion, it's as close as anyone's gonna get to the actual map from the movies! Sure, there's places on the map that don't line up and some that don't makes sense, but don't get this confused with an actual step by step map of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (a place that doesn't really exist, I might add) This is a replica and a very good one too! Any Harry Potter fan would be happy to add this to the right collection!

This chart measures 15-1/2 inches by 71 inches. It is vey well detailed and a lot of fun to puruse. Studying it makes one realise that we need more information about the layout of Hogwarts. Where each room and floor is actually located. One can spend a good amount of time looking at this map and keep seeing more stuff that may have been missed the first time. I really like it! It does come already printed and ready to use. The user has to apply the Homonculous Charm to it in order to make it actually work! That part I am still working on! The thing is, my wand arrived without its core, so I first have to get my wand to work!Because it is physically larger than Harry's copy, it is more difficult to fold up small enough to put into ones pocket!
