Yellowstone: Season One

Bought in the UK. Quick delivery and it worked on my UK DVD player, PS3. I was concerned I might have to buy a multi region player. Now looking forwards to season 2 release.

Thought the whole story great even better with Kevin Costner heading the cast what could be better!!

Excellent, Kevin Costner is brilliant, Kelly Riley must get best role ever if this was a movie she deserves an Oscar, I have already started season 2

Enjoyed re visiting this DVD season 1 after seeing it on Paramount telivision. Will be ordering Season 2

Very good Usually order region 2 but it played on dvd recorder no problems!!!

Great series, takes some getting into after 2 or three episodes, but thoroughly enjoyed.

Great to catch up on the First Season

This copy of Yellowstone is much, much better than the box set I bought in March 2024. This one showed up at the door earlier than expected. We can actually watch each of the shows without it freezing or breaking up like the dvds in the box set. If you want to see a great show on great dvds this is the one to buy.

Great Dealer, thank you. Got the Blue Ray disc without RCE, it is fine running with my player in Europe. The story is good as I expected, watched some trailers before. I propose to switch on the subtitles for non English mother tongue viewers. Frank

This is a mirror of the Western United States. While aging baby-boomers flee from high taxes and incessant crime in California, the diversity of our Nation's prideful Native American emergence via Casinos on Indian Lands, and finally a constant stream of wretched developers, developing for the unending wicked "transplants' who migrate to anywhere they can find their wicked solitude in developments which, deny the existing infrastructure, and want only what they had at home, "Yellowstone" portrays it all. I have to say this series is one of the best written and produced versions of a Television movie, since "Lonesome Dove". While the latter was about the migration of a group of cattlemen into a new and challenging land in the late part of the 1800's, this is about a Cattle Baron in Montana today, who easily could have had a heritage from one of those early founders. He in on attack from every side of a constantly burgeoning barrage of Capitalist developers, and Native Americans, who, enriched by the wealth of Casinos, also believe this is their ancestral land. They want it back, and not without reason. I have never seen such a fascinating montage of conflicting interests presented, with violence, yes, and complete familial dis-functionality. After seeing the first episode, I thought this was the closest film I had seen to the "Godfather", one and two. The next few episodes, filling in the history of Dutton, are little disappointing as they do not live up to the fury of the first, which is a rallying cry for the children to go to war for their Father versus everyone in opposition. Nevertheless, only having seen the first six episodes, Costner is at his "weathered" best as the patriarch, and all the cast are completely wonderful. I would highly recommend this mini-series, for its significant impact, and as a mirror of conflicting interests which now plague this beautiful and diverse landscape.

This is a superb series with great acting & gritty action. I have watched both Series One & Series Two & just cant wait to see what happens to the Dutton Clan in S3!
