Perfect to reach those stubborn knots along shoulder blades. Weird rubber smell when received but otherwise great set.

They are the best, hard, very durable and just the right size (for me) to get into the deep trouble areas and in-between the muscle bundles where there are scar tissues. I workout a LOT so I need them for heavy duty massage therapy. However, they are not meant for people who do not need or can't take deep tissue pressure. I found some at other sporting goods store and they were more expensive, not the right size nor the same standard as Champion. They are also bouncy and easily stolen because people like to play with them. I also bought a couple of softball that are much larger in diameter for other massage application that does not require me to get into the deeper tissue level.

6 lacrosse balls work miracles on your back! Use one to get some kinks out. Take two more with some athletic tape and create a 'peanut' to hit your spine just right. Give one to a friend and have them try it and you've still got two more for spare. Keep one in the car! One at work!Seriously, these things work great for my back and I can get to all of the kinks and knots. Against a wall or on the floor. Great for me feet as well. It can be a little painful until you get used to it but you'll feel better after you work on your spots and knots. I use these to release tension in my muscles, but I'm too overweight to use them on the floor other than under my legs. I use them againstvthe wall for my back, glutes, and leg muscles. I love how they provide such complete relief so quickly. I also use them before a massage so I can have a more relaxing message.What I do is put one between me andcthe wall and roll around until I find a really sore spot. Then hokd for 30 seconds or until the muscle releases.

not what I had hoped for durability. The balls didn't seem as hard and substantial as the standard lacrosse balls that I have used in the past. I use these for retrieval balls for my dog and it usually takes two weeks for her to break the outer covering (sink her teeth enough to get a good chewing start). These lasted one day.

The balls do have a strong scent, but it seems to have dissipated over time, I would suggest temporarily storing in an open space to "air" out, then they are fine. I use these to iron kinks out of my shoulder and they definitely do the trick. It's nice to have 6, I can keep them in different rooms of the house and work and share with my husband.

I use them in lieu of a foam roller sometimes when I need to get more specific pressure for self myofascial release. Don't get suckered into buying special massage balls. Just get these. They're effective and come in fun colors, and even double as dog toys if you don't keep an eye out! As a personal trainer and a massage therapist, I totally recommend this product for uses unintended by the manufacturer. Enjoy!

These are great colorful lacrosse balls and my kid was very happy to have some extra balls around to play with.
