Because well, that’s just how much I love it 🥇💥 - This is my first ever posture corrector and I don’t think I could be any more satisfied! I actually love it so much that I’ll save you some time and give you the lowdown. So I spent a good amount of time researching the various choices on desertcart in search of a “small” with adjustable straps. If you’re small/petite like me, this one is for you. It comes in two sizes, medium and large, but the medium is perfect as it looks and fits like a small and has adjustable straps. The torso straps and the shoulder straps are joined in the back (which by the way, also has two long strips of metal providing extra support for your back - in comparison, other products I looked at had only pieces of fabric ) so when putting it on, you put your arms through (you’ll have the brace dangling on your back) and will have to “tailor” it to your size which will look like this: you grab the 2 longer/thicker torso straps (which are each dangling on the left and right side) and wrap them around your waist, joining the Velcro in the front and then next, to tighten the shoulder straps, you grab each of smaller/thinner straps (dangling on left and right side), wrap them around your waist and then Velcro them in place on top of the torso straps. Sorry if that’s confusing, the take away is that it’s extremely versatile and is what makes this item so great. So as the other reviews have stated, the shoulder straps (which have little cushion pads that you can slide into your preferred position to lessen the friction) at first aggravate your skin in the armpit area, but that’s expected- that means your posture is just “that poor,” but don’t worry, it’ll lighten up after a few days in once you’ve begun to “correct your posture“. FYI - this is what it’s supposed to do. This slight discomfort from the shoulder straps doesn’t mean it’s poorly made and that it definitely doesn’t mean it should be a deal breaker. The exact opposite is true. So, since I’ve seen people review it as being otherwise, I’ll give you an analogy: your teeth are misaligned so you have braces. Every month you see your orthodontist who examines your teeth and will tighten your braces. If you’ve had braces, you know that for the first week or so, you will be in a lot of pain, but the pain lessens as your teeth adjust. The skin irritation from the friction of the shoulder straps is the exact same thing - as you “correct your posture,” you’ll be tightening the straps tighter each time, and each time the straps will pinch your skin a little bit more, and each time it’ll subside. TIP: if I’m at home, I’ll wear the brace over my shirt because well, who cares? But also because the fabric really absorbs the annoying chafing in my armpits. I’m telling you this because if you’re leaving the house and have it UNDER your clothes, you should put a thin shirt underneath the brace so that it’ll be a lot more comfortable TLDR: comfortable, great quality posture corrector that is adjustable and WORKS. I take it on and off several times throughout the day (I have back pain due to a spine injury and on the days my pain flares up, I put this on and can expect to feel relief. After about a few days in I was already able to tell that I was standing up straighter and I was also beginning to feel the strengthening of some of my back muscles along my spine. >Do you want to know something else that (I think) optimizes it’s effectiveness? >Stretching and deep breathing exercises. >For those of you who are like me and suffer with pain day in and day out, please check this out. Paula Lay and her YouTube channel have changed my life. > Licensed Physical Therapists even recommend this video.> “This short video will release tension and create ease and spaciousness in your neck, shoulders and upper back.” TIP: While stretching, be mindful of your breathing and when you inhale, visualize the oxgyen flowing in and as you continue your inhale, visualize that stream of oxygen flowing to different areas of your body ie back/shoulders/neck that feel tense/pressure, and then as you continue, visualize the oxygen filling each cell of your body in that area. This is a great way to increase circulation=reduce pain. Back to the posture corrector: Two of my family members tried it on and immediately said that they want one. One of them even asked to borrow it so that she could show it to her friend. And what makes this product even better is the company’s customer support. A few days after receiving my order, I received an email from Carlota who wanted to ensure that I was enjoying my posture corrector. She sent me a very helpful list of instructions and even arranged to send a replacement as I had (accidentally) clicked the wrong size at checkout. She was kind and went above and beyond to to guarantee I was happy. Thanks, Carlota (and VOKKA) 👍 Review: It does what it's meant to do - It's hard to give something like this a 5 star review. Hopefully you'll read this and understand. It's not something that offers pain relief. . I have a compressed l4 vertebrae and I also am a flooring installer. (Not a good combo) and having some extra back support is probably a smart thing for me to do. The price on this was great and it was worth a shot to try it. What it does is sit in a slightly awkward position on your body and tugs on your shoulders helping you to keep a better posture. It isnt a dramatic effect tho. you can adjust it somewhat. In a sense when you're bending over its elastic aspects pull backwards on your shoulders so it offere a little more support for your lower back. For what it is it is as comfortable as you could hope it would be. It's a great product and if you're looking for something like this I definitely recommend it. But as is anything like this it's not going to be the most comfortable thing no matter what you do. It's not bad though and fits well. UPDATE: it works well for shoulder and upper back posture but I mistakenly thought it would help with lower back. The brace is smaller than it appears I thought the lower part was for your waist but it sits higher. This was my mistake in assuming it would help with lower back issues but it doesnt do anything for that.

VOKKA IS BEST I'VE FOUND: COMFORT, EASE OF USE, HELPS CHRONIC BACK PAIN, JUST GOT A 2nd ONE.
After way too many attempts to get a decent bracing for my mid-low thoracic Very Old (Fell out of barn loft over 60 years ago, landing on my back, on a concrete step-off floor...of Course I did Not tell my folks!) T-spine compression Fxs w/ radicular rib pain (T5-6, 6-7), the VOKKA is the best so far (FOR MY SPECIFIC PURPOSES!). Just got a 2nd one, as T-Spine pain (Make that Cervical and Lumbo-Sacral while we're at it!) is a long-term, debilitating and interesting problem for me. Have tried several other braces, some even homemade...the next best is surprisingly a MUELLER LOW BACK brace, worn Firmly over the Thoracic spine! In addition to Careful medical management by a Pain Specialist Physician (Well-meaning, but, if they're not careful, "pill-pushing" while chasing symptoms, Docs may create a "Poly-pharmacy" in a chronic pain patient: a "Too many Cooks Spoil the Broth" situation, risking Dysfunction & worse.) and over past 4-6 years, have, had Injections & Ablation Nerve Root therapy, which helped, but bracing enables a longer time between the shots (which HURT, BTW!). As for my Personal use habits for these devices, I wear this brace when sleeping (have about 2 hrs. sleep at a time before bladder, other pains, Beloved disabled Wife's needs, Beloved Feline Owner's desire to be Loving, or fed, etc. ). Yes, I've had the expensive upper body medical bracing before...but at present, the VIKKA is better for me, and way more comfortable. This unit is well-worth the price. BTW, I seriously fought back against the results of that fateful fall: practiced good posture, mostly healthy diet, anti-oxidants, ex.: ROTC Drill Team, Hatha Yoga, Hypnosis (self & guided), Dr. Lloyd Glauberman's "Hypno-Peripheral Processing tapes, inversion (back swing), Massage chair, warm & cold packs. As if that wasn't enough, I had a later severe neck (discs) lifting injury ( 1972, ER Doc CPR emergent lifting situation with a 300 lb. Samoan patient of our hospital and clinic...he survived and was back home with his family 3 days later!) which was a life-changer for myself: job loss, disability, divorce, medical re-specialization (4 more years of school!), eventually requiring surgery (Thankfully delayed for those decades by these ancient as well as modern tools and treatments, until delicate spinal and disc surgical techniques & training evolved, & did not ultimately create as well as solve problems). Far more than a Single Angel has touched my life...so many caring, compassionate souls with smiles, holding the door for me, prayers, advice, ideas, support... from a a REAL Hindu Guru (South India Lineage...not 1 of those "marketed" in the 60's & 70's because they "looked Holy"!), Oahu Judo Master (Incredible hand strength!) Shiatsu Therapist named Mr. Tawaro Takushi, Traditional Aryuvedic medical hospitalization (Coimbatore, Kerala, India) and "intensive" therapy (10 weeks, 4-5 therapists per session, daily oil baths, solitary time to self for reflection, avoidance of news, media, socialization, even Spiritual readings!, surrounded by a WHO research facility (re. which I couldn't even ask questions, etc., as I was "Joe Patient" at that time) evaluating this Ancient science, special oils (main type called "Dhanwanthri") applied to skin, with the source plant exclusively (for strict resource preservation reasons) grown and harvested by the Keralan Aborginal "Toda" people) in South India, also an 80 yr-old BLIND Naturopath Chiropractor/inventor (I still have and use (It's lasted over 40 years...brand name "Crown"!) one of his Supine neck traction devices, CREATED WHILE HE WAS BLIND!), appropriately named Frank Nightengale. And the rollcall of Blessings and Inspirations gifted to my heart and soul through these experiences of injury, pain, and the challenge to reflect that Love and Compassion, is what keeps this old man going. Don't Give Up! Blessings and Prayers are sent your way. May your Pain be lessened, or even used to Help Others. So, as the seller says, for posture correction, follow instructions and use for 20 minutes at a time, BUT, my story stands.

Mediocre
I've been using this for 5 weeks now, so this review is subject to change. Pro: While wearing it, it is a constant reminder of posture. Pro: Lightweight and seems to be of high quality Con: Very uncomfortable. I ordered and received the correct size, but the arm straps are always rubbing and the waist strap moves unless super tight. Con: The support plates are always coming out of their slots. I notice this more when sitting than standing. This last part may just be due to wearing it only 5 weeks, but I'm in more pain wearing it than not - maybe that is a sign it is working. My doctor said to give it 3 weeks for my body to adjust, maybe I need more time.

Had REALLY high hopes, they were squashed FAST!!!
At first this product was great and felt like it was giving me the support I needed. When I took off the brace it had cut into my underarms even with the straps properly adjusted. The problem with this product is that by the tine to tighten the arm straps enough to actually be affective it starts causing pain, discomfort, and a nasty raw red mark. This brace cannot Really be worn under you clothing due to the material it is made out of will immediately make you star sweating. I ended up returning this product, I purchased it because it had so many ‘good’ reviews. Which after trying this product a large portion of those reviewers must have been compensated in some sort of way. I would have loved to say this product worked because then my back pain would be under control. Instead I am waiting for amazon to receive the product I sent back so I can be credited for my purchase. I would like to add that this product doesn’t add much support at all, in reality it just makes you think about your posture and correct it naturally. The waste belt should be under the naval area to actually provide any lower back support at all. This product essentially is a backpack with a front waste strap. Just put on the backpack and tighten the arms as much as you can tolerate and then put the waste band on and you have successfully simulated this waste of money.

Great overall product and quality
So let's be clear: for me, this is not something that was ever going to relieve pain. This was for posture correction, and that has always been very painful in my experience. That being said, everything about this has satisfied my needs. It is well made, and the design is very intuitive after the first time. The support is good without being PUSHY painful - the pain builds over time, and if you don't have as much variance in a proper, natural spine position as I do, I think there would be much less pain overall. Do what the listing says and order a size larger if your measurements are in between sizes. I was within the L range, and it fits fine, but with less room on the torso strap than is probably ideal for most people. Give yourself the extra room, the way it's made it will not likely be too cumbersome. All that said: YOU REALLY SHOULD ONLY WEAR IT FOR 2O MINUTES THE FIRST DAY. Unless this is to replace one you have already been using, listen to that specification. I am not a stranger to this type of pain and on day one I made it to 20 minutes and not a minute more. Even if you aren't feeling it after 20 minutes, there is a strong likelihood that you will feel it a little while later. If you need a posture correcting brace, this is a great choice. If you need a brace for support, unless you have a very proper spine I would not suggest this one.

Not comfortable and barely works
In terms of fit it's basically like wearing a backpack. However the center strap that goes around your torso is in a very uncomfortable position, hitting right at the top of my stomach. And it has to be tight around your torso because the tension in the shoulders relies on your own body. The elastic straps and back are padded which is nice, they're comfortable than a backpack in that regard. In terms of effectiveness, yeah, it pulls on your shoulders... but it's very easy to overcome the pull of the elastic so you basically have to flex your upper back anyway. I don't think this is an effective solution to hunchback.

Product corrects posture by pulling shoulders back as claimed
I ordered this product because I have neck and shoulder pain from decades of sitting in front of a computer all day. I liked the idea that it had vertical back stays and a waist strap for support. The product was delivered a day ahead of schedule and the company emailed instructions for use ahead of the delivery. The product seems well made. I am a 5'10" 180 lb male of average build and I ordered a large. The harness was not difficult to put on and adjust though you may need help if you have flexibility issues. The harness comfortably and firmly pulled my shoulders into alignment. If you're like me and push your neck forward you will still need to keep it straight yourself though it is easier to remember with the harness on. In just the second day my chronic shoulder pain eased up to where I can sleep on that side for the first time in months. I have been wearing the harness for 5 days now, about 6 hours/day over a tee shirt. More than that starts to abrade the skin under my arms. No adjustment seems to help. The harness works for me but this is a unisex product so there are a couple of things to consider. The harness is is just barely long enough for the waist strap to reach below my rib cage. if you are 6'+ or have a long torso this may be an issue. Also the harness is just barely wide enough to hit my shoulders effectively. Again, maybe an issue if you have wide shoulders.

buen producto, a buen precio

Works! Would recommend :)
TLDR: It works, thank you so much! Long story: I've been diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 5 years old. Since then and up until I turned 17 or so I was in and out of medical camps, constantly doing medical PE and physio when I was back home. I never progressed to stage 2 (thanks to my mum who was making me do all of that <3), but I started getting occasional pain when I was around 22 or so. I've been having really bad lower back pain last few months and nothing was helping at all. At first I was thinking that it might be due to office-like work and not enough exercises (during lockdown I was only exercising twice a week instead of 5 before the lockdown), so I upped the exercises and it didn't help either. I started thinking that perhaps I should look into a posture corrector and a support pillow and after a long review of most available products on Amazon I stopped at this one and, I still can't believe, but the second I put it on the pain was nearly gone. I guess it just supports me when I needed to be supported. It's only day 2, but yesterday I was wearing it for the entire day, it I was able to do everything again with just a very mild pain in my lower back. So the way this thing works for me is it helps me to keep a good posture, but it doesn't make it painful, I can still go back to my "normal", but it doesn't feel comfortable enough while wearing it (and actually the first while when I take it off), so it's quite good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for comfort is because after a while it does cut into your arms a bit and it's not as comfortable, but to be honest I lost my Saturday having to lay down the entire day not being able to do anything and yesterday I was out and about enjoying myself thanks to this thing, so it's definitely worth it :)

The quality is good, and the results are good.
The product matches the picture description, the fabric is soft and breathable, the quality is good, the effect is also good.

Ottimo!
