Possibly but this Hurricane glass cylinder is basically used as a candle shade with an open top and bottom. Mine shipped to me were packed so well against breakage that it took 15 minutes to unwrap. So this company sent me an excellent product priced well below other brands.

Are these heat resistant?

They are to go over a candle, a chimney.

can glass cylinders be cut in half vertically?
