Need a car seat mirror for a fixed headrest? This is it!
Months and months of looking for a mirror that would work with a car that has fixed headrests. Finally, this! It's not heavy, though still a little heavier than I would prefer, but I think that that is what helps it to lock in place. I am able to easily tighten the strap, and even when we load the baby in on the side where the mirror is, it remains stable and in place. (Our car seat is in the center, and I opted to install the mirror on the passenger side. It's an easy install, so you could just as quickly move it to center if you have passengers in the back.)When I ordered this mirror, I thought the light would be useless and, to be honest, I was a little annoyed since I felt like I was paying for something I didn't need or want. Couldn't have been more wrong! The light works beautifully (a slow, crescendo-ed on and off that doesn't disturb the baby), and we use it all the time now that it's winter and it gets dark so early. So much better now that I can finally see what's going on in the back seat! Only wish I had found this mirror sooner.

Great mirror! Serves it's purpose
I love that I can see my son through my rearview mirror or by turning my head, it's a great size and the night light helps seeing my son in the dark. But the light is super bright, it's like looking into an led flashlight shining right into baby's face, I just hope my baby looks away instead of into it. And the mirror vibrates with the van so it shakes pretty good and looks blurry. But overall it's a great mirror especially on a budget.

Only mirror that seemed to work for our Tesla Model 3!!
Finally found a mirror that would work for our Tesla Model 3. Since the seat headrests don’t move, we needed a mirror that would tilt.Easy to install and doesn’t damage the seats. It also can be tightened so the mirror remains secure when driving. The mirror size is great and our newborn actually enjoys looking at himself. The light for night time is an added bonus, although there is a small delay when hitting the remote button to turn it on. It still works though!

Waste of $
The light worked once . After that it never turned on again. We even tried new batteries and still would not turn on!Says it’s compatible with stationary headrests however ; this is not the case.

Not as good as older discontinued model
I have the older version of this mirror (the round one) so I bought this one when we had our second. I love the nightlight feature. I don't often drive when it's dark but when I have it has been really nice to be able to see baby's face. The remote works well and the batteries last a long time. At first I didn't like how it fades out because I couldn't tell if the mirror received the signal that I had pushed the button or not. But truthfully it's better since the gradual fade won't disturb the baby should it be sleeping whereas a quick on or off might. What I don't like is the stability of the mirror itself. The biggest complaint with these types of mirrors seems to be that they jiggle. The older round version doesn't move at all. It's easily adjustable, stays out and provides an extremely clear image that is a true reflection. My daughter (still rear facing) now looks in the mirror to see me and we can sign to each other without waking the baby. So... It's clear and easy to see. It also has a large scope of vision. This new rectangle model jiggles quite a bit and has a weird convex mirror that gives a sort of fish bowl image. it also doesn't stay adjusted since its jiggling so much and eventually it needs to be readjusted or you're staring at your babies chest and hands. Unless the mirror is perfectly adjusted you can't see baby's face very well. It's like a fun house mirror.I do like the way it secures to the headrest, it's easy to take on and off. I want to like this mirror but it's just not as good as the one it replaced. I wish they had just incorporated the nightlight into the old mirror design.

Realized quickly that mirrors without a light were useless at night
Realized quickly that mirrors without a light were useless at night. Tried another mirror with a light but it was awful - light wasn't bright and remote barely worked. LOVE this mirror. I have had no issues with the remote and the light is nice and bright. My only criticisms are I prefer the double strap attachment on some other mirror brands - this single strap around the bars doesn't seem as secure. Also, I wish the light turned on and off more quickly. When you press the button, it takes a few seconds for the light to get to full brightness (it gradually brightens) and similarly it gradually darkens when it turns off.

Useless light, funny mirror
This was the cheapest mirror I could find... this is one of those "you get what you pay for" products. I don't even bother with the light. Despite all the annoyances, it does the one job it's supposed to- allow me to see baby while driving so not worth the hassle of returning.PROS:-The mirror is easy to install.-Decent size mirror.-I like that there isn't an obnoxious boarder around the mirror.-The swivel is nice due to multiple drivers.-Compared to our other car mirror, baby appears closer in this mirror.CONS:-Mirror is not a good quality mirror. I don't know what it it is but reflections are a bit distorted or blurry, like a bad prescription glasses. Husband thinks it's because it's to make baby appear closer.-Adjusting and tightening does need to happen every once in a while. I guess because my headrest is leather, making it slippery.-The tiny light bulb needs 3 AA batteries. That's more than what most of my kid's toy takes! Receiver needs 2 AAA. The mismatch messes with my OCD.-I have a Toyota Corolla, so not a big or long car. The remote on my visor does not reach the receiver on the mirror.-Light takes more than a click and "few seconds" to turn on and off. I often end up switching it off.
