Gundam 00 - #38 00 Raiser (Designer's Color Ver.) HG 00 Model Kit

By far, this is the best, strongest, most detailed and durable HG 1/144 kit I've ever built.The Designer color scheme is unique, and was the main reason I bought this kit (Plus, it was 25 bucks! A STEAL considering how high the quality is on the plastic and details). I'm the type who paints Gundams, and I refuse to touch this kit with anything outside of a panel-lining marker (I used a .20 mm Micron pen on mine).Pro's:-STRONG PLASTIC! The quality of this plastic is awesome, I wish Bandai would use this particular plastic on ALL their kits. Not only that, but the finish is pretty matte/flat compared to other HG/MG models I've built. I didn't even topcoat this kit because it already looks pretty realistic.-It comes with the Raiser, and it's attachable. You can also put the Raiser on the included stand!-This kit even came with two sweet water-transfer decals depicting the Celestial Being logo.-Even the foil stickers on this kit look nice. I only used the stickers for the GN joints on the knee and elbow, which are further covered by a clear plastic lens.-POSEABLE! This kit is flexible as hell! When the Raiser is attached to the back, it's a bit back/top-heavy, but the included stand will remedy this. Or you can pose the 00 on its own and set the Raiser on the stand -- that's what I did! Looks sweet!-Raiser itself has a lot of cool moving parts and details, and the clear-orange canopy is a nice touch.Con's:-GN rifles/swords don't hold well in the hands. Recommend using some ticky-tack to get'em solidly in place.-GN Shield falls off easily, whether from the holder's on the GN Drive's or the holder's on the wings of the Raiser. It'll fall off if you fiddle with it, so be careful.That's it. Other than those two complaints, this Kit is amazing! Great price, high quality. Great for beginners AND expert builders.

My thoughts on the colors, as others have focused on the kit itself which is fantastic.I started out unsure if I would like this version with the Ebikawa colors, but it has grown on me tremendously. I wish they had kept it for the show now! It really sets the kit apart from the other "main" suits and seems to fit it very well. Compared to the painted version in the product shots, the real plastic is slightly lighter on the blue and the red is more of a light burnt red than vibrant pink. I've built many many kits but this one feels kind of fun and unique with the interesting history behind the colors from the original design phase. Highly recommended and I will use this scheme on more suits in the future!

This Gundam is fun to mess with, model and to build it gave me a fun time. The HG Gundam 00 Raiser is a great gundam and so was the entire 00 Gundam series. Highly satisfied customer here who might buy some more Gundams later on..~

bought this assembled it in a day ( hey I'm a novice and kept getting interrupted) easy to follow instructions with some optional parts thrown in for posing. This Gundam can stand on it's own so you don't need to put it on it's stand unless you want flying poses or something really extreme parts fit nice and sturdy except for the GN Blades though that is understandable as they have multiple configurations from rifles to twin blades to double blade and it also comes with two GN shields(not pictured) the only problematic pieces because of the way they attach to 00's arm forcing you to rotate it 180 so it stays on (doesn't look bad but limits pose-ability a bit especially in their big shield config. If you are going to use these my suggestion is obviously not to move it around all the time or leave them attached to the raiser wings instead. ---One happy owner

better off with a 100. this is legit for beginners and what not but for a kid looking for a toy or a collector looking for a good posable model.... takes like 2 hours tops. weapons are flimsy and the raiser backpack kit always falls off

This figure took me about 4 hours to build, at times it was extremely frustrating because of all the little parts but in the end it was worth it. 00 Raiser is VERY articulate, every little part and joint imaginable moves, you have to be careful though, parts can snap off very easily, and, it can be a little difficult to set him in the right position you want him to, but all in all it is a very cool and fun kit :-)

difficult but well worth it and looks awesome! A great addition to any gunpla collector for sure. TRANS AM RAISER!

A great model with plenty of articulation and features, it even comes with a stand.
