Quality Survival and Practical Tool
Great little survival tool... It has so many applications in urban and wilderness survival, as well as in practical situations.I took a foot long (or so) stick from a broken tool (probably a hoe or something) and started trying to attach the Ax Card to it. With zip-ties its apparently quite simple (according to other videos and reviews I've seen), but I wanted to do it with paracord since I parctically always wear a paracord bracelet on my right wrist (which would make paracord more applicable than zip-ties for me in a survival situation). So, I took the stick and the Ax Card and attached it with the paracord. It took me about 15 tries (adjusting the knots, carving the stick, etc... I didn't realized you had to have a notch for the card to fit into until about the 8th try). After I had a good notch in the stick and a good length of paracord (about 2-3 feet), it was fairly simple to attach the Ax Card to the stick to make a survival ax. I was able to cut wood hitting as hard as I could (which is quite hard, I'm built larger than most people) The blade was sharp enough to cut down a hardwood limb, about and inch and a half in diameter (when in ax form). There are no dents or bends in the card blade. It is made of good quality steel. It should last for as long as I need it.The Ax Card came in a pretty flimsy case. It would be perfect to carry in a wallet, but in a pocket by itself (which is what I do with it), the case wouldn't work. It wasn't very difficult to make a small case for it to easily slide in and out of.A couple of other ways to use it:-Both the Arrowhead and the Card itself are perfect throwing weapons (depending on your form).-The saw works without being attached to anything.-Good pocket tool without being in Ax form.I love this little tool and all of its survival and practical uses. Great quality; good price. I highly recommend this product.

An amazing little invention. Just use it right when you put it together (as opposed to those who make video 'reviews' of this).
I have seen, on YouTube, people 'review' this axe. Every one of them just used the axe part, itself, instead of binding the point onto the BACK of the axe as is recommended. Do NOT try to bond just the axe onto the handle, because the axe will, quickly, twist because of torque until it won't cut any more (as they showed it do in each of the supposed 'reviews' of this axe). The axe is designed to be used WITH the atlatl point being bound onto the back of the axe. It steadies the axe and keeps it from twisting from the torque that occurs when you hit wood with it.Obviously, because the edge is a 45 degree sharpness and is lightweight, it will not bite deeply into wood with one whack. However, it certainly makes an incredible weapon. Just as the ancient Hohokam made their stone axes to hit someone in the head, not to chop down trees... this axe is a perfect weapon that can be used against mountain lion or javalina attacks (as well as warding off people who might wish to attack you).Yes, if you chopped long-enough you can certainly chop down a tree easier than you might if you were to try and cut a tree down with your hunting knife. Even those 'pull on two handles' saws are extremely delicate and you will break those far before you will break this axe. For it being so small, it is a great emergency tool to keep in your Everyday Survival Kit.

great idea!
Great concept! I sharpened the arrowhead It had no cutting edge at all. Not too sure about the cutting angle of the hatchet blade but I'm not going to mess with it until I try it out first. Saw blade has no fleam, no rake, no set. But the teeth may be pointed enough to slot a stick for the hatchet head. Nevertheless, this is still a fantastic idea! Every survival kit should have one.. Also, a person may be able to attach this to the end of a long pole, chisel fashion, and use it to spud holes through the ice for fishing and water in the winter. I'm not sure, just food for thought.

Definitely buy
This is a wallet sized tool, with the ability to save your life. This tool is a necessity for everyone. It is easy to use, built to last, and is very convenient. It will not become magnetic thus protecting your credit cards, will not rust, and can easily fit in a standard wallet. It includes a detailed diagram on the functions and uses of the many tools. There is a series of videos on YouTube show the user how to build the tools and use them. The only equipment needed to build the different tools is either string or zip ties. I suggest 550 cord because the zip ties tend to break but in survival situation anything will do. I am extremely satisfied with this product. The only thing that could be better was if the blade was sharper but that's okay.

Didn't hold up
I was super excited to receive my credit card axe. Upon receiving, the item seemed sturdy, but when applied to wood as a wedge, it didn't hold up. The poor little product torqued and died.

Not bad! Mine came with some burrs and other MINOR imperfections, but it's not anything that would compromise the axe during use. As advertised, this tool is small and relatively lightweight; about the size of a credit card, and will fit anywhere. One, solid piece - no moving parts - except to remove the spearhead. This will make a great addition to my EDC/bug out bag, and I'm confident that if I ever did need to use this on a daily basis that it would hold up under all conditions. I'm happy with this purchase.

Built like a tank!!!!
The only thing I would improve or change is to provide a better case or sleeve for the product. I will tape the arrow point so it does not fall out. Mine will reside in my car. My wallet is already FULL! It is absolutely top quality!!! In addition, it needs to be made razor sharp!! It is an easy fix! It is a SURVIVAL too after all. The knife part is not sharp, the great arrow point needs to have the edges honed to a razor edge too!!! You should not have to make these aftermarket "fixes!" Other than those fixes, I love it!!
