IsoBag Meal Prep System (3 Meal, Black/Black)

I use this bag everyday. It fits enough for me for a decent sized morning snack, a large lunch, and an hefty afternoon snack. It also holds all my sups, shakes, and anything else I've thrown at it over the past few months. Construction is brilliant. I have had no problem with the cold packs or zippers and I have used this bag 5-6 days a week for 3 months. Clean up is also very easy and the bag is a lot smaller than you may expect. Food stays cold enough but please note that I don't have to worry about dinner, longer storage might need an extra cold pack tossed in. Some of the larger containers are a big snug in the front compartment but nothing a little brute force hasn't solved yet. All in all if you are looking for a cooler so you can be serious about your food intake (and you don't need to travel with 6 meals a day), this is a perfect bag for you.

Ok first off, really great quality. I was very impressed. The reason for the 3 stars is, the size! A lot smaller than what I expected! I was expecting something with a deeper pocket to place the tuppoware. Height wise it's great, and the side pockets are decent, it's just the Main compartment that really bugs me. Standard tuppoware, (the ones with the 3 divides) will not fit. This would be ok if their tupp came divided so I can actually put meals in one container, I don't like my food all over the place, but yea, really disappointed on size especially for the price. Will be returning and trying the 6 meal size, hopefully that one is a bit bigger. A+ on quality though. Even the tuppoware is great just wish it was divided.

After losing 125 lbs I have become more conscious on what I am eating. I'm one of those people that actually eat 6 or 7 meals a day, trying to spread out my calories evenly through out the day. Depending on my work day, I will eat at least 2 meals and have a third meal prepared just in case my work day becomes longer than expected.The bag keeps the food cool until it is time for it to heat up. The side zipper pockets, I can carry my pre-work out drink and my shakeolgy drink (I use the Shakeolgy container) and it keeps them cool. If it's an off day, I put in a small pint container of almond milk and throw an apple on top of it....again, they stay cool for an 8 hour day easy. One the top zipper pocket, I usually keep my vitamins and a couple of banana's.I've seen reviews on utube (and maybe here on Amazon) about the bag and some tend to complain about the mesh pockets being a waste and they won't hold anything. I carry two 24 ounce bottle of water and I have had NO problems of them falling out as others might have suggested.The only thing I don't like is their containers. it's all just one compartment. I have several different container that have multiple compartments that I use, but they fit in there pretty snug.Over all I think it's a great lunch box system and I have found it easier to just this one bag as opposed to the 3 lunch boxes I use to carry.

Ok first off, this is not really for your typical home lunch type lunchbag....if you are looking for a typical lunch bag, this isnt for you, save your $$ and get a normal lunchbag.this bag is great for busy long hours at work, for meal preppers/gym rats, and anyone on a special diet or eating schedule. i love this bag, its built very well, and much more sturdy than the 6pack bags out there, that also cost more. i really like how on the sides there is a tall, deep insulated pouch on each side, basically designed for a shaker bottle, or a water/soda bottle, and then next to them on each side is a mesh pouch, instead of just a very wide insulated pouch like the 6pack bags have. this is a factor as to why i went with Isobag, not 6pack... i like to put things in the mesh pouch that i like a room temp, like fruit for example, instead of putting in a insulated cold pouch. i also really like how this bag comes with 6 containers....the 6pack bags do not.overall if you are watching your food intake, or an athlete/ gym rat who eats prepped meals throughout the day, then this bag is worth the money!! i love it, and the only reason i gave it 4 stars is beacuse how much it costs, also i would expect maybe a few more compartments/ mesh pouches that are not insulated, like for utensils, or if youre like me, you carry a bottle of hot sauce but dont want it to be cold. the mesh pouches on this bag are deep, and not very tight, so a smaller bottle of hot sauce for example could potentially fall out.the last factor for not getting a 5 star rating is the ice packs.....they suck, there is no sugar coating that. they work fine ( make sure you lay them flat when freezing, so they fit into the ice pack slots) but they are so horribly cheaply made, i cant imagine them lasting long at all. its almost like putting water in a very cheapo value brand plastic bag, then freezing it....i wouldnt trust that for long. i went out and got some of the Fit and Fresh ice packs ( also sold on Amazon), they are slim and made with hard durable plastic, and they work great in the Isobags.

This meal system is exactly what I was looking for. Even though it is only the 3 meal system, it stil lholds more than enough food for multiple meals throughout the day. The containers are a perfect fit for the bag. I have not owned the bag long enough to rate durability, however, it appears to be well constructed.There is one con to this product and it is the durability of the containers. They are a bit flimsy. My package arrived and one of the lids was broken in shipping. I contacted Isobag and the responded immediately by mailing me not just a replacement lid, but an entire new box of multiple replacement containers and lids. 5 stars for customer service!!!! The shipment arrived today and when I opened the box I found one of the replacement container botoms had been destroyed in shipping. The problem is either the containers are too fragile, or the packaging for the product is insuffiecient. Either way, I am happy with the bag and very impressed with Isobag's customer service.
