Perfect fit
Perfect fit was hesitant on the size because my 6 year old is 57 pounds. Fit was great, light weight for a hot day

Love it!
This is a great life vest! Of course, I looked for US Coastguard approved first but then comfort. My daughter doesn’t like super bulky life jackets. While you must have some bulkiness (she cannot swim yet), this was more flexible. “Flexible” is the best term I can come up with. It is just not so rigid and bulky like some life vests. There is a cool space in the back that gives her a little extra wiggle room. Zip up and then buckles seem the right thing for her age and size rather than just buckles. She is 5 years old and this is her first “big girl” jacket, no handle on the neck and no strap between the legs. I am very cautious in the water with her and I felt comfortable with her wearing it.Update- she wore it all summer and she was comfortable, protected, and this met safety requirements for being out on the boat.

I got 3 of these vests for my girls ages 5 and twin that are 7 all over 50 lbs. they used these in the swimming pool on our vacation. they were great kept them above the water.

Great life vest!
This is a great vest, my six year old (55 lbs and 48") wore it for several hours multiple times while snorkeling in Florida and it was perfect. Not too stiff or bulky!
