Nice but needs a small pocket
I love Garrett as a brand and support them so I bought this pouch. It works well but needs a small finds pouch integrated into the design. The large pouch is good but who wants to mix nice finds with trash? I don't like mixing coins or relics with junk. Other than that its ok.

works well for metal detecting when you find the treasures
got lots of use out of this collecting found treasures

Must have equipment.
Just starting out with metal detecting. My first dry run and just getting the hang and understanding what works for me. The pouch is well made and has the inner treasure pocket that's zippered. Attached the pro-pointer to the strap and no problem with adjusting or holding adjustment when attached to waist for several hours of use. The pouch is roomy, lined, and water proof. The 1" back strap you see around the bag just under the logo is sewn to the outer bag only allowing you to attach the pro pointer holster in many different positions for your ease of access depending on if worn on the left or right side. With my scoop in one hand and detector the other I proceeded to scan the beach. Still learning the controls and came up with a lot of trash. Pouch came in handy, why dump it back on the beach? Did find several items, not much to talk about but still learning.Did notice the lifeguard watching me during my search. As I left the beach he drove over and thanked me for filling the holes and not dumping the trash back on the beach. My partner was not doing the same and he did not look at him. This made me forget to dump the trash at the parking area and cleaned out my bag at home.Found a gold pendant that must have been in a shell or somehow overlooked among all the pull tabs, bottle tops, and metal/paper covers... glad I did not empty at the beach. Also noticed that night that a manufacture is running a raffle - 1 ticket for every 10 pull tabs sent in...maybe another prize is in the works. Never know.

Great Design - Poor Execution and Quality
I purchased this finds pouch after reading plenty of reviews. First, here's what I like about the overall design: The pouch is lightweight, water resistant and ample in size without being too big. I appreciate the integrated belt. I like having a full zipper closure to keep contents secure. The additional inner zipper pocket is nice for separating small finds and the outer strand of webbing is handy for attaching sheaths or carabiners. But having used the Garrett Digger's pouch four or five times now, here's what I find disappointing: Because the bag has some depth (front to back), the outer zipper must travel around a hard corner at either end which makes opening and closing the pouch with one hand nearly impossible (see photo). This necessitates having to free both hands of any equipment in order to operate the zipper. Secondly, the zipper and pull on the shallow inner pocket is of a far lesser quality and after having used it only a hand full of times, the metal pull traveled completely off the teeth, rendering the pocket useless. The integrated belt is made of a thin, flimsy webbing which bunches and twists under the weight of attached equipment and at stress points. Finally, I feel that a couple small grommets placed in the bottom of the pouch would allow grit and water to drain away rather than collect inside. True, this product was not expensive and "you get what you pay for". However, I did expect much better quality coming from Garrett.
