Q: Will this work to test the level of acedic acid in homemade vinegar? I need to achieve a 5% to 9% acidity level.

The kit level I have will go down to a 3.5 or 4 pH. To test any lower you will need a different indicator.

Q: What is the % range this test can measure confidently? Thank you!

I could never get this test to function at all. I even tried with defined calibration solutions and never got a color change. I wouldn't recommend this test at all.

Q: How do you test for higher than 1%?

You would have to use more the 10 cc's of the 1/5 normal sodium hydroxide or find/buy a stronger than 1/5 normal sodium hydroxide solution. The second option would change how you would calculate your results.
