Good mouse, has served me well
I'm writing this after years of using the same one. For what it is, this mouse has brought me a long way. I can't remember if I paid $12 or $15 at the time, but it's served me well for years. Paint starts to come off on the red parts after repeated use, but I can't complain about that, it's expected. The scroll wheel acts as a center button and also rolls in small intervals; after years, has a tendency to scroll down an interval by itself probably due to wear and tear in the housing. The main buttons have finally worn down, sometimes requiring multiple attempts to achieve a click - I game a lot and expected this to happen. The two extra thumb buttons are useful both in and out of gaming (I believe, at least on Chrome, that they navigate between the Previous and the Next pages similar to how Backspace and Alt+Right Arrow work). Additionally, the DPI button in the middle toggles between three settings (don't remember the exact numbers, but effectively low, medium, and high) and the higher the DPI setting, the brighter the LED behind the button glows. I found myself using the side buttons and the DPI toggler more often than I ever thought I would, and they made problems like page navigation and mouse sensitivity trivial.I've had no problems with movement. If I remember correctly, it had a few pads on the bottom around the edges which helped with friction against the mouse pad.The cord was a bit long, but I've been tying up long cords with twist ties for years so it was a non-issue. The USB plug has a long head, so it's easy to identity and grab. If you're using a laptop, the length of the USB plug might be adverse to you as its pretty obtrusive, however I rather liked it.Not as fancy as a Naga or anything like that, but a solid reliable mouse overall.

Price vs Performance King of Gaming Mice!
For $10, you will not find a better gaming mouse. Period.PROS- PRICE - cheaper than a movie ticket- QUALITY - for something this cheap, it is built remarkably sturdy, on par with several Razers I have owned.- RESPONSE - its lengthened buttons make both "claw" and flat fingered gamers feel at home when using, all buttons are responsive, click with a solid feel, and have no lag or "squishiness."CONS- SIDE BUTTONS - while nice, and they work well, they are positioned in a spot where your thumb will hit the side casing of the body. Since it is flush, you think you are on the button, but it is not and you have to shift your hand up again. I am sure this is something you will get used too, but if they could profile the body to be lower than the buttons, the thumb would not gravitate toward it and would make a much easier to feel surface.- LIGHT - this thing never shuts off... ever. While it is not obtrusive or super bright, it would be nice to have the option to turn it off.- THE FEET - if you use textured surface mouse surfaces like the Razer Vespula, I found that this quickly wore the coating off the feet of mine and made it catch and jump the lazer after only maybe a month. I have some teflon and silicone covered mouse feet pads that I applied and works smooth as butter so be warned the coating they used is very sub par.BOTTOM LINEWith the form and feel of a mouse 7x its price, the minor negatives are very worth the amount of money you will save on this. These are ones you want to buy 5 of so you have back ups for the next 10 years,

It worked well (two years later, not working), not very ergonomic.
Update: Two years after purchase, this mouse no longer works. This mouse is cheap, but 2 years is still a bit short of a life span.Flawless function:Before purchasing this mouse, I had been having a problem with my mouse disconnecting mid-use and then reconnecting every so often. I tried 2 different logitech mouses and 1 dell mouse, all had this problem. I purchased this mouse and no problems at all!The red-light stays on during PC standby mode, even though it is plugged directly into the motherboard port, not a USB hub or the front of PC. Not a con for me, but an observation.Ergonomics:This mouse is slightly less ergonomic than what I'm accustomed to; this one is a neutral-hand design while I find right-handed design is so much more comfortable on the wrist after extended use. I find after a weekend of gaming my wrist is showing warning signs of carpal tunnel: a problem I am not used to.That being said, the extra mouse buttons are easy to reach and while also not being accidentally used. The last thing is about the texture of the surface: it is not smooth, I don't quite know the word to describe it. It's like that "dry" notepad paper feeling compared to the smooth magazine paper texture. This is my own personal problem, but I often feel like my skin is too dry while using this mouse and needs to be moisturized in order to not suffer from the non-smooth texture.Satisfaction:I am very happy with this mouse, especially for the great price. I don't plan to switch to another mouse unless the lack of right-handed ergonomy proves to accumulate carpal irritation.
