do i need to order a lifter with this?

This is a common misconception, one that has cost my company hundreds and likely thousands of dollars. You only need the lifter if your phone does not support external headsets. We use Shoretel 230 VOIP phones and these headsets work right out of the box WITHOUT the lifter. (We've purchased 50 or so of these lifters, only to find out that we do not need them.) So check with your phone manufacturer, IT dept, whatever you have available before ordering the lifter. As far as I can tell, you really only need it for much older phones, or for very generic non-office use phones. The majority of office phones have provisions for wireless headsets.

Will this headset work with the panasonic kx-tg9581 system? can i pair it via bluetooth or do i need to connect hardwired either rj45 or 2.5mm? thanks
