Jeff Buckley: His Own Voice Hardcover – Illustrated, October 15, 2019

Fascinating collection of Jeff’s writing. It gives more insight into Jeff’s life and how he wrote. Personally, I think Jeff was a genius singer/songwriter and we lost him way too soon. Tragedy.

This book was a combination of six of his journals that were found the rest were like burned. I was fortunate to get it on sale so I only paid like $15. I love to display it on my shelf. It’s a lot to read so I read it here and there because he wrote so much and it’s just really cool to see like some of the early development of his songs like The Sky Is a Landfill. It has old newspaper articles about him when he was in high school.

This book was great; I'm so glad that I got it. A long-time JSB fan, it was everything that I would've wanted and more. The most touching parts were his notes to himself on the hotel stationery where he worked. My heart rose and broke reading it. I loved seeing a small glimpse of his book collection! What a magnificent soul that we lost.The seller that sold it to me was perfect, would order from them again.

Awesome book. Well made. Full of pictures, stories, handwritten notes, and historical information.

This ebook is basically illegible on any of the standard kindle e-readers. It has to be read in landscape mode, with 2 pages side by side on the screen at once. I was disappointed to see that the kindle version can’t really be read on a kindle. I have a 12.9” iPad Pro with the kindle app and on there it looks good enough. Just think twice about getting the ebook unless you have a large tablet to read it on. The content seems good otherwise, just wanted to pass along this warning about the kindle version being unreadable on kindles.
