The cutter is ok, they all are only going to last so long when using them as much as I do. The value for money rating is low due to Simple making a tool that they are the only ones who make the correct size cutter insert for. They have it priced way above the cost of other manufactures inserts and it isn't any better. The square cutter tool they make has a size that will allow one to purchase inserts from another maker but not the round one. If anyone is looking for a round carbide cutter tool, do not by a Simple brand or you will be stuck only having to purchase thier over priced cutter insert. I would not recommend this tool to anyone.

Fit perfectly
Work as expected but just a little pricey. 5 star if not for the price

I replace my cutters about twice a year.
For the last few years I've made over 250+ bowls/ plates plus different pens using these carbide cutters. I have purchased these cutters a number of times and am very satisfied with them. I am able to rotate to fresh sharp edge when needed. I use several different cutters from this manufacturer and will continue to do so. Very satisfied.

Great tools.
All their tools work great. Their replacement cutters are in line with the cost of other brands. I have been using their tools for some time never had a problem.

I’ve been using these cutting heads for 2 years now. Whether it’s pine oak cherry or walnut I always get a good finish with them. Highly recommend.

The replacement cutters are way sharper than the one that comes with the tool and cut very well.

I have recently developed a tool with the carbide mounted on the end of the tool. I have made two vases three bowls and really like the carbide tool It cuts the wood so smooth you can jump at least a grade or two in the sanding process. Thanks Amazon for pages on wood turning tools. I have used this service a number of times and will continue to use it. Thanks again Wayne A taylor
