Fein Starlock E-Cut Carbide Pro Saw Blade, 1-1/4" Width, 1-5/8" Length

These blades go beyond the standard E-cut blades by cutting tough metals like stainless steel. They are pricey, and the carbide teeth do break off, but it's the only blade out there that does the job.

I'm using these with a Flex 24V oscillating saw. Compared to all the bargain blades I've bought, these are awesome. I have cut flooring staples, #8 and #16 nails and small to medium screws. I've cut at least 50 hard metal fasteners so far and a single blade is still going strong. They fit on the saw well and are easy to swap when I want a simple wood cutting blade. A bit pricier than others, but if you need to cut nails and screws, then I highly recommend this blade.

Great for cutting Ikea cabinet rails.

If you want these to last a long time turn the cutting speed down or have some water handy to dip them in. They hold up longer than high carbon steel but if you don't cool them off after every nail they will over heat.

Fein is the finest. These blades are long lasting after many cuts through wood, metal, and PVC et al piping. They are precise and do the job without having to apply pressure.

Normal steel blades wore down immediately cutting out grout so I ordered these and they are holding up to the challenge.

I spent an inordinate amount of time and ruined a bimetallic Fein blade cutting a screw protruding through a metal roof several weeks ago, so I ordered this tungsten carbide blade. I got it and brought it with me as I continued to work on the same reno job. This time I encountered a screw protruding through a top plate. This blade was put to use the first day I owned it and cut through that screw ‘like butter’. If you need to cut through hardened steel, this is the blade to get.

I have bought these blades many times in the past, but this latest batch are absolutely shocking, I would be very surprised if these are genuine carbide blades
