Good quality 32 amp plug and socket. Cable clamp is a bit fragile
I got this for a boiler project i had on the go. I'm not an electrician this is just my opinion. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician for assistance. These arrive in plastic wrap. Unwrap and they are quite straightforward to wire up. They are labelled Live,neutral, earth. You will need a phillips head screwdriver with atleast 2-3 inches reach. There is a cable clamp internal of the plug which is flimsy and i did brake it. But once assembled and cables fed through a few winds of electrical tape and it is nice and secure. The pins of the plug are a bit wobbly but they do have secure clamps for the cable connectors. it's a good idea to use crimps for the best connection. The socket has a nice spring closure cap and they do include a gland to get a more weatherproof seal. It is meant for a round cable and won't seal properly if you do use a flat cable, but will secure it. There are also mounting points for attaching to a wall. I did have an issue with the gland supplied as it was the wrong size but a few messages sorted it no hassle. The casings are plastic and quality is ok. They don't feel like the toughest in the world, and for the purchase price i wouldn't expect them to be. But they have survived a few knocks and drops without issue. So far i've had them running with mains 240v 3.5kw boiler attached wired with 6mm twin and earth and that ran for 4 hours without any issues. It didn't even get warm. There were no drops in connection or power. Good quality and value. Recommended.

Very cheaply constructed. plastic is thinner than I would like. Not really suitable for permanent outdoor use but fine as a temporary connection. To put it this way if it was in a small puddle of water I wouldn't touch it. It will do the job but I recommend you buy a better one.
