Worked as advertised
The crimp connectors feel very sold and work just like normal. I have had no experience wiring cat cable prior to getting these. I was able to look up the instructions online and watch videos about connecting Cat cable to these connectors. The connectors make it really easier to attach cable. If you splice the wire and hold it in your hand these connectors will slip right over the wire and keep them in place. It made me really confident in running the cable through my house. I have had no connection issues yet!

Extremely happy! Have not wasted a single one! They work great with either stranded or solid wire.
Bought this based on reviews for a home project of running LAN to the living room and master bedroom. Something strange about the bedroom caused unstable WIFI even with extenders. Practiced making a few short LAN patch cables and got the hang of the process quickly. I use the TRENDnet 8P/RJ-45 and 6P/RJ-12, RJ-11 Crimp, Cut, and Strip Tool, TC-CT68 crimper with these and they come out great. I had never done this before but every single cable I have made so far has tested perfect! These definitely get job done reliably. I have used them with both stranded and solid copper wire with no issues with either. Extremely happy!

Worked well but no loadbar
These were inexpensive and worked very well. The only caveat is that it does not come with a loadbar. I had never put together Cat 6 connectors together before and all of the instructions I found online referenced the use of a loadbar to make it easier to put the wires in the right order. This product does not come with one. You have to line up the wires in the correct order manually and then push them in to the end of the connector. It took and little bit of trial and error but in the end it was not that difficult. Can't beat the price and the connectors worked as advertised.

They're connectors. What do you expect?
If you are interested in making your own cable, then I recommend you pick these up. I found $20 dollars for 50 at lowes, and $9 for 6 at radio shack, but $9 for 100!!!!!!! this price is unbeatable! So even though they are connectors, and there is obviously nothing special....... the price definitely makes a difference. I done lot's of cat 5 wiring, and not once have I had a problem with these connectors. People that complain that they don't work, just don't know how to make cable. I mean unless pins are missing, or there are cracks. Theoretically they are suppose to work, no matter what. Anyways that's all I will say about that. Nothing special about the connectors, but the price..... I demand you get them, for you cable makers.

Not top of the line, but they do what they say.
After reading the mixed reviews, I wasn't sure about these connectors but decided to give them a try anyway. So far I've crimped solid wire Cat5 (I realize they don't claim to be for solid wire), stranded Cat5e, and stranded Cat6 cables with them. All of the cables have worked with no problems at Gigabit speeds (even the Cat5 surprisingly). I ran several network speed tests comparing the crimped cables to factory molded cables of the same types and found no significant speed differences. The cables have also been in actual use with no problems thus far. I'm not saying these are perfect, and they don't seem to be fully Cat6 spec, but they can and do work for Cat6 (or Cat5e) Gigabit Ethernet. I wouldn't trust them on a 10GBASE-T network, but if you've already shelled out the cash for 10GBASE-T equipment, you're probably not going to buy these anyway.

Great ends at rock bottom price.
I have yet to make a bad end with these ends. These are much better then the ends i bought at a local supply store and i got 50 for what i paid for 10. The clips on these ends seem to be of the highest quality they have plenty of spring to them and they don't feel like they are going to break when you are unplugging wires. In the future when i run out of ends i will be coming back to buy more of these.

Inexpensive and they lock
I tried 2 other different brand of connectors (for 24 AWG, Cat6 cable) and both of them would never lock without having to pull back on the plastic lock. Also, most the Cat6 cable (created using the other connectors) did not work on the very first try. I came to the conclusion that they more designed for Cat5e cable (where my success rate is very high), so I use them for that purpose. For all my Cat6 cables, I'll use these. Not only do these lock in place, I was more successful in creating a working cable on the very first try. When I need more connectors, I'll get these.

Nice but there are better out there.
Nice crimps but I have since seen better. First time buying and making my own cables. I think if I had to do it again I would look for crimps that allow the cable to go all the way out the end, then trim the ends off. Lining up the eight cables is a bit tough. My first attempt ended up with a bad end. The second and third cables worked much better. I'm sure I'll get the hang of up when I terminate about thirty cables this weekend. Also, go ahead and buy the boots while you are at it. You'll wish you had one you get the first end on and working.

Very easy to crimp, and with a good grip on the cable.

Excelentes conectores.
