This thing is so tiny compared to what I could find in Home Depot or Lowes, especially at a 100 watt rating, and cheaper! I have mine just behind a rock pillar under some stones. I didn't want a bulky transformer attached to my house so this thing is perfect.

It looks a high-quality device, at least from outside. it does not hum, but it has an annoying behavior: when you turn it on, the connected led strip turns on in 1-2 seconds, not immediately as expected. I discovered it only once mounted and I kept it because I didn't want to repeat the work

I use this outside to run a series of outdoor lights . It was easy to install/replace my old one. No heat from it as I went with a larger size. Recommended.

Used for landscaping lights from sunset until 1am. Easy to install but died on me after 8 months. For a second 100W that died after 11 months! Avoid
