Pistachios Shelled Raw Unsalted, 2Lbs

Great product

These come in a funky looking bag, but the price and product are what I want.

I buy these pistachios often, because they are raw and unsalted, without all the unnecessary flavorings that are sometimes added. And, these are a staple in my low carb diet - finger food, "like candy", except super nutritious. I look for the lowest price, and this seems to be it.

These are the very worst raw pistachios I have ever seen. They look nothing like they’re pictured. They are very probably very old as they’re is no green color that I can see and they taste terrible. There is hardly any flavor at all. I would certainly like to return them, but because they are food stuffs I probably cannot.. so there goes $34.00! I will not ever again buy something from Amazon that I cannot return!

I got these for my cockatoo because pistachios are high in iron. She likes them roasted which is easy to do. I like them too and we munch together.

These pistachios are good quality. I like to toast them on a cookie sheet at about 310 degrees (in a hotter oven they can scorch) for about 15-20 min. checking often. Cool and store in the fridge. I love pistachios but am too lazy to shell them and prefer unsalted. So this makes a tasty snack. I've ordered these several times. One batch had a lot of shell fragments which was a hassle, hard to see them so not easy to pick out in advance. So I eat a few at a time and chew carefully at first. I think quality control could be improved to avoid this. Otherwise, a great product.

Made a pistachio cake with them. The aroma was enticing, but the recipe was a flop.
