SmileMakers Hockey Pencils - 24 per pack

These hockey stick pencils were much higher quality than we expected. We used them as prizes for summer reading club at the library where I work. Even the girls wanted them because they are cute. The pencil is square, but we had no problem sharpening them in our electric pencil sharpener. The "blade" of the stick is an eraser. It works well. It's not one of those smeary erasers that you often get on pencils. The words "Hockey Pencil" are on two sides of the pencil, and there is over two inches of pencil before you get to the words, so the words won't disappear the first time you sharpen it.

My daughter's elementary school doesn't allow food items to be shared with classmates for birthdays, so we searched for something fun she could hand out to each classmate instead. These pencils were perfect, as she plays hockey! The main part of the pencil is square but seemed to sharpen just fine. The blade of the hockey stick is an eraser. It's quite heavy, but looks awesome. I was sad that my daughter's eraser broke in half when she tried using it - so keep that in mind. The eraser may have been older and dry - or maybe it's just for show an not really for erasing.

These were exactly what I was looking for. My hockey loving son wanted to give his friends hockey sticks for Valentines Day. I ordered these and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. These pencils sharpened well and the erasers worked well. The students in my his class loved receiving these. I will be purchasing again as a favor for a hockey themed birthday party.I received the 4 colors shown- red, black, green, and blue. There were 6 of each color.

I was very disappointed to have received all Blue & Red pencils today when the picture specifically showed four color choices. I expected to receive 8 of each color. No green or yellow pencils were included. My son's Hockey team is yellow so that color was particularly important to our order. These are supposed to be part of several gifts for my son's friends' birthdays. Please don't show the colors if you don't have them in stock or at least attempt to contact the customer. I would have given 5 stars if I received all the colors shown in the picture.

I did have one out of the twenty four pencils that was defective. Other wise these pencils were awesome Valentine’s for my sons class and hockey team

The Hockey pencils were super cute and a big hit with my 7 year old daughter and her friends. The only issue i had was with the erasers. They cracked very easily - not sure if this was because they were dry and or old.

Big hit for the hockey team. Bought them along with the Franklin sports nhl mini balls. Super cute/colorful and sturdy as a pencil - less so as an actual hockey stick - so don't play with them too rough or they will break.

These were a great hit as party favors for my son's birthday party. The kids loved using the hockey pencils as hockey sticks with their balls. Mom and Dad had fun with them too :) If you get playing too hard with them, the eraser will start to tear, but it tapes up nicely with masking tape or even hockey stick tape.

I cannot comment on how they sharpen for the quality of the pencil for purposes of using as a pencil as these are going to be given in team swag bags and I have not sharpened them. But they are super cute and larger than expected. I'm sure they will be a hit with my son's hockey team.

They are bigger than I expected which is a plus and great quality! Came in the timeframe it said as well! Very impressed with this purchase!
