Marvel Avengers Assemble [Region 2] [UK Import]

If I could give this a zero I would. NOWHERE does it say the region. It doesn't play in US consoles! It was supposed to be a gift. I returned it and ordered the standard DVD which wont even ship for a couple weeks. I'm incredibly unhappy!!

There are much better movie reviewers than, I. Therefore, I will add to the many reviews of "Fantastic!", "Not to miss!", "Best movie of ALL time!", and say,"Ditto, ditto, ditto! One of my faves!".

I like the different title and having a copy of my favorite movie from another country is cool but anyway the picture is more cleare then my region 1 copy the sound is great and for ten bucks great find I watched it three times❤❤

I have just put this film on because I am watching it on my Xbox it is a brilliant film anyway because the Xbox makes the graphics better anyway and having a 4K telly as well makes it much better I should have just brought D.V.D.in the first place thank you very much anyway even though you have sent me blu-rays as well

Great popcorn movie. Just get the feeling if you take Loki out of the film it loses a lot. He is a great villain.I also feel the movie centred on Tony Stark/Iron Man far too much (an issue to plague later MCU films) when it needed much more Steve Rogers/Captain America. Having said that amazing visuals and a great watch. Just not quite up there with the greats in the Comic Book Movie world.

My husband and teenage son had wanted to watch this movie when it came out in the cinemas, but we had so much going on in our lives at the time, they never got round to it.Was looking for some good DVDs on Amazon to have movie night with the family, and saw that this was out, I normally go for RomComs, Dramas, Comedies and Thrillers if I'm honest, this sort of movie is never high on my radar. But since I had watched IRON MAN 1, and enjoyed it, and he was in this movie I decided to take a punt and get it.Of course my son and hubby were delighted, my daughter (also a teenager) and I settled back and decided we would enjoy our popcorn and sweets at least. But I have to say that after a slightly slow start we really got into the movie and loved it!I think the humour in the film made it for me, the buff bodies were nice eye candy too. I would say go and get it, you will not regret it.

I must stress that I have not read the comics, I have only enjoyed the characters since watching the films so I am unable to give comparisons on how well the story has been adapted for the big screen.Avengers Assemble story line is that the world is under attack by Loki (Tom Hiddleston), who is the evil brother of Thor. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson),brings together a team with 'super powers' consisting of Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) to save the world. Loki with the help of a powerful energy cube attempts to bring alien armies to earth to destroy humanity.I feel the film is well scripted and all the characters worked excellently together. The film is actioned packed and consistently entertaining. As someone who is not normally a fan of these types of movies, I was quite shocked at how much I enjoyed this film. There are so many laugh out loud moments, I look forward to watching it again in the near future!

I have never paid much attention or followed marvel, always preferred DC. But in 2012 Marvel did well with the Avengers movie, it is entertaining, amusing, well made, a good cast and well worth a watch. It is no where near the quality of Batman Begins or The Dark Knight if you are compering comic book movies but absolutely destroys The Dark Knight Rises as a piece of entertainment.The Blu Ray is nothing special but good picture quality and sound, extra's are limited.Warner Bros have been dealt a blow with this movie, time to re-boot Batman get rid of Nolan and his preposterous handling of Batman in the third film (how can JGL can be Batman/knightwing/Robin among other ridiculous ideas and treatment of Batman -still livid, how did it happen after the brilliance of the first two) and show Marvel how it should be done.
