I am using this in a cheap home stereo (courtesy of Good Will). The speakers, single driver, lacked high end "sizzle". These deliver "sizzle" in spades for a VERY LOW price. I consider it a GOOD DEAL!

Worked great
I upgraded some old Peavey floor monitors with these and they sounded 4x better than factory piezos. These babies have a built in capacitor that makes them plug and play for anything. The included mounting hardware/screws worked great as well. Amazing value for money and the fit and finish impressed me. These things are heavy too!

Gotta put work into them to make them sound good.
Well, I’ll start by saying you can get them to sound decent but manufacturing problems are why these sound bad upon arrival. The diaphragms are loose! I disassembled them so I blew my warranty but I wanted to see if making them sound good as a challenge. The three mounting bumps on the horn lens for the magnet need to be shaved down 1/32” or 1mm to come down far enough to tighten diaphragm and put a small dab of glue under each terminal tab to stop movement totally. Also added the ferrofluid that I thought was there in the first place and sharpened the top end alot! After all that work they sound good now and are nice, crispy and loud. The screws are under the front trim bubble ring to get it apart if you want to even go through this much but they look better without the bubble ring on the front in my opinion. Good speakers for electronic dog whistle
These speakers, a Pyle 200W Marine amplifier and an inShareplus 12V Power Supply make an awesome electronic dog whistle, which is very useful for training barking dogs that are otherwise not in your control. You can send ultrasonic soundtracks to the setup from your phone using Bluetooth.
