Extended the distance from aerial to receiver
Did what I wanted. I was getting data via a yagi and short lead to the receiver at 868MHz, but needed to move the receiver from the loft to the ground floor. By using this amp I was able to run a 10m extension cable and get the data where I wanted. Running on 4.5V supply.

Blew up itself and my keyboard
I'm an electrical engineer so I like to think I know what I'm doing but the power in reads as a clean short. No sign of the magic smoke but this thing runs way way too hot to be normal. It nearly fried the analogue supply I was powering it with and managed to nuke the keyboard my SDR was plugged into. I guess you get what you pay for but I'm annoyed about the keyboard tbh.

At 7mhz range came to life
I wish i could give these 10 stars, it flatlined all interference across the range on my SDR, radio stations popped up loud and clear across the 7mhz range and everywhere, I'm using a homemade aerial, 2metre dipole hybrid design with a 10metre wire tapped across, so good i ordered 2 more, i will try one on my television and one on my spectrum analyser, I forgot to say it came down in proper ESD sealed bag, now i will be busy, Note, if you use an old 5 volt phone charger check the voltage is around 5 volts, I found out why my old phone battery expanded and died, transformer said 5v on it, my multimeter read 8.4 volts, 5 volts plus + on VCC, minus Ov on GND
